KeymasterHi Suzanne,
I see that you have another thread open for this topic over in our Event Tickets Plus forum, so I’m going to go ahead and close this one out. See you over there!

KeymasterHi Suzanne,
Thanks for reaching out! Since tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, you can typically use WooCommerce extensions in conjunction with tickets. However, I did some testing on this, and it looks like the selections for composite products are typically made on the WooCommerce product page itself, whereas tickets are selected directly on an event page. With this setup, the additional selections (components) won’t appear under the ticket on the event page for the user to make their selection. As a workaround, you can instead use the full product page – we have some instructions on how to set that up here.
Please note that we are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for third-party integrations, but please let me know how this works for you and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Phillip,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
First, Event Aggregator will let you import events from multiple sources, such as Google Calendars, Meetup, Facebook, and more, into your calendar. Community Events will let users create their own events from the front end of the site, and these will be displayed on your site’s main calendar along with the events that you create/import.
While there is not currently an out-of-the box method for users to subscribe to your calendar, we do have an open feature request for this and are planning on adding this feature in the future. Could you please cast your vote for it over in our Feature Ideas Forum? This helps us gauge user interest in and prioritize development for new features. In the meantime, another solution would be to try a plugin like Event Calendar Newsletter, but please note that this is a third-party plugin and is not developed or supported by Modern Tribe. You could also allow users to subscribe via RSS.
Regarding adding a link to a specific invitation, you could create a custom field (Events Calendar Pro feature) that would allow you to paste the link into each event you create, and this will be displayed on the event on the front-end of the site. Or, you could also paste the link into the event description – no additional plugins required!
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with our products, so feel free to test them out! If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jeffrey,
Thanks for reaching out!
Community Tickets will let users create tickets on their events from the front end of the site. I’d recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some great information on getting Community Tickets up and running:
New User Primer: Community Tickets
Community Tickets: Configuring PayPal and Split Payments
Community Tickets: Tracking Sales and Getting Paid
If you have any questions on configuring a particular feature or you run into any issues, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Holger,
Thanks for clarifying!
Unfortunately you are correct, there is not currently a way to create recurring events and have users buy tickets for individual dates in the series (unless you created specific tickets for every date in the series, which would result in you having several tickets show up on every date). What you can do is use the recurring events feature to create the events, and then break the events from the series before adding your tickets. You’ll need to add the tickets to each event individually, but this way will at least save you some time on re-entering the same details for every date.
You can create the three ticket types on each event, and set each to use global stock. Then you can set the global stock to 6. This means that for each event, only 6 tickets can be sold, no matter which type.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you on using tickets with recurring events, but I would recommend casting your vote on this feature request over in our Feature Ideas Forum. This helps us know that more users are interested in this feature and will help you stay up-to-date on progress. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately the new features you referenced have not been released yet (and I don’t have a timeline as to when they will be released at the moment), but we are working on them! I would recommend casting your vote for that feature, which will help you stay up to date on progress. Using recurring events, every event in the series will have the same information, including the venue – I’m sorry for the bad news here!
There isn’t currently a way to create a custom event type, but you can group events by assigning a category to individual events. I think this would be the best way to go for your particular use case. They won’t appear in a popup (although you could create one with a customization – please see our themer’s guide for more info on customizing our plugins). However, you can then display events of a certain category around your site using the shortcodes that come with Pro or by using category (archive) pages.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution for you here, but I hope this helps – and please stay tuned for updates on the new features! Of course, if you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Francine,
Thanks for reaching out!
One way to do this would be to set a specific category for events that you want to feature, and then use different colors for different categories. You could also use the Featured Events feature that comes with The Events Calendar out of the box.
Let me know if either of those will work for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Eric,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue! I checked your license on my end, and everything looks alright. Can you try following these instructions to disconnect it and then try reconnecting to see if that resolves the issue?
Let me know how it goes – if needed, I can issue you a new key.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Amber,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry you’re having so much trouble with that box…can you try going under Events > Settings > Display and adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings? These control how much the events pages inherit their styling from the theme, so adjusting those may fix the issue.
If not, you can add the following to the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize:
.fusion-events-featured-image .fusion-events-single-title-content {
position: initial;
}This will put the box right below the featured image (see screenshot).
Let me know how that works!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Pascha,
I just checked the internal ticket for this, and it looks like it’s currently in QA, which means it should hopefully be released here shortly. This thread is linked to that internal ticket, so as soon as it’s released, you’ll be notified here!
Thanks for your patience as we work on getting this resolved.

KeymasterHi Florian,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue! Could you please send me the link that you’re using to import? Is this happening with scheduled imports, manual imports, or both?
Can you also try updating to the current version of The Events Calendar (4.6.1) and see if that resolves the issue? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Lynn,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can set up registrations (unpaid) with our free Event Tickets plugin. This will let you create RSVP-style tickets on your events, where users can indicate whether or not they are planning to attend an event. You can also set the start and end dates for these tickets to be available, as well as set an available stock for each ticket.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
