ParticipantHi,
i set up an event series of independent, reocurring events for a customer (https://goldschmiede-recke.de/trauringkurse) but only the first, most current event has a “buy Button”.How can i configure it, so that ALL of the events can be bought ahead of time?
Thanks for Helping 🙂
Holger.

KeymasterHi Holger,
Thanks for reaching out!
I took a look at the link you sent, and I am seeing a “Jetztz kaufen!” button on each occurrence of the event. Is this what you are referring to? From what I can see, all of the events that you linked to can be purchased ahead of time. Could you please provide some more details on what isn’t working the way you’d like? If you can send any relevant screenshots of what you would like to change, that would be helpful as well!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
as the change on my customer’s website was quite urgent, i generated all
the events indepenantly. As far as i understood it, there is no way to create a reocurring event,
where the customers buy new tickets for each event-> i have a seminar, wich takes place in each last saturday of the
month. It is each time the same Seminar with different customers.-> i have 3 kinds of tickets but overall only 6 places – no matter which
ticket.how is that possible with your plugins?
My way was, to create 4 dedicated events by hand and created 3 tickets
for each. That is quite a mess, regarding the fact that these events are
completely identically (apart of the date)Mit freudigen Grüßen aus Filderstadt

KeymasterHi Holger,
Thanks for clarifying!
Unfortunately you are correct, there is not currently a way to create recurring events and have users buy tickets for individual dates in the series (unless you created specific tickets for every date in the series, which would result in you having several tickets show up on every date). What you can do is use the recurring events feature to create the events, and then break the events from the series before adding your tickets. You’ll need to add the tickets to each event individually, but this way will at least save you some time on re-entering the same details for every date.
You can create the three ticket types on each event, and set each to use global stock. Then you can set the global stock to 6. This means that for each event, only 6 tickets can be sold, no matter which type.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you on using tickets with recurring events, but I would recommend casting your vote on this feature request over in our Feature Ideas Forum. This helps us know that more users are interested in this feature and will help you stay up-to-date on progress. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
