Hey there. I do not mind buying the license for 1 site, but I want to make sure this is the right one for us.

We are trying to put together an online calendar on our Blog: https://blog.polkadotdesign.com/

Since we’re in the business of celebrating everything, I want to be able to import all sorts of random holiday calendars into our calendar and allow customers to subscribe to our calendar. This way they will be able to be reminded about the holidays for the day, week, or month with options for daily, etc. digests of what to celebrate. I also want the ability to add a link to the holidays that would allow you to go to a specific invitation dedicated to that holiday on our money site: https://www.polkadotdesign.com/

Is this feasible to think that your plugin can accomplish all of this for me? Can customers also subscribe and maybe even have the option to add their own events to a private version as well?

    Hi Phillip,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

First, Event Aggregator will let you import events from multiple sources, such as Google Calendars, Meetup, Facebook, and more, into your calendar. Community Events will let users create their own events from the front end of the site, and these will be displayed on your site’s main calendar along with the events that you create/import.

While there is not currently an out-of-the box method for users to subscribe to your calendar, we do have an open feature request for this and are planning on adding this feature in the future. Could you please cast your vote for it over in our Feature Ideas Forum? This helps us gauge user interest in and prioritize development for new features. In the meantime, another solution would be to try a plugin like Event Calendar Newsletter, but please note that this is a third-party plugin and is not developed or supported by Modern Tribe. You could also allow users to subscribe via RSS.

Regarding adding a link to a specific invitation, you could create a custom field (Events Calendar Pro feature) that would allow you to paste the link into each event you create, and this will be displayed on the event on the front-end of the site. Or, you could also paste the link into the event description – no additional plugins required!

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with our products, so feel free to test them out! If you have any other questions, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
