KeymasterHi Georg,
We’ve been able to confirm this as an issue in the system and logged it for our developers to take a look at – apologies for the inconvenience here!
As soon as we have an update on this, we’ll let you know here. Thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Ron and Mathew,
This issue was not part of the release that went out today (you can see an overview of what was included here), but it looks like it will hopefully be included in the next cycle, although I cannot guarantee this and don’t have an ETA for that release yet. This still needs to go through development and testing.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better timeline I can give you at the moment!
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Karri,
I just did some testing on my end, and by default, users should be able to select venues that were created by other users.
Can you please clarify what you’re referring to by the “all, my own, published, cornerstone content” tabs? Are users able to see all of the venues by going to Events > Venues? If you can share some screenshots of where users aren’t able to select the venue and the tabs that you’re referring to, that would help me to better understand the problem. Please note that attachments will not be included when replying via email; you will need to login and upload them directly to the thread.
If you haven’t tried this out in a completely default environment (all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro disabled and the Twentyseventeen theme enabled), please also give this a try to see if you’re still seeing the same thing. Since I am not seeing the same thing on my end, it is definitely possible that something else is interfering here.
Please also share your full system info with me so that I can see if there is anything there that might be causing issues. If you can’t share it automatically, you can copy it from Events > Help > System Information and paste it into a private reply.
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 12, 2018 at 9:13 am in reply to: Inability to Manage Attendees for TIckets Sold on Page/Post #1619592Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Tickets can only be linked to the single post (whether this is an “event”, “page”, or “post” post type) that they were created on. If you want to link to certain tickets from several pages, your best bet might be to create them on a dedicated post/page and then link to that page from the events/pages that you want to display the tickets on.
Alternatively, if you’re using WooCommerce, you could use the full WooCommerce product page to sell tickets – this is disabled by default, but this code will re-enable it. You could then use the [products ids=””] shortcode to display tickets on any page you like (if you add a featured image to the WooCommerce product, the image will display too).
Otherwise, there isn’t a way to “merge” attendees from tickets created on different pages. You can export the lists and merge them manually, but as far as stock management goes, this can only be done collectively for tickets created on the same page.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Andy,
Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus!
This is indeed possible – you can create custom fields to collect additional info like names and job titles from each attendee, and the purchaser will receive an email with the tickets. We have a free extension that will include a PDF copy of the tickets.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
There are a couple of ways that you might go about doing this…
- You can use the snippet provided here
- You can try using a plugin like Say What
- You can update the translation files
- You can also do template overrides to customize the views where the weekday labels appear
We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations like this, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
I tested this out on my end, and I believe that the way it is currently working is the way it is intended to work – if a user searches on any of the events views (outside of the past views), the default is that this will only include upcoming events. However, you should still see the “Previous Events” and “Next Events” links at the bottom of the results (provided there are events in either direction), which will allow users to go back in time from the current exhibitions.
If you would like to change the way that this displays, you could do so via a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot! If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. What I can do is flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
If you would like us to try to help further with this, please let me know, and I’ll add you to that queue.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Dan,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue! There is currently a bug where month view is not displaying correctly on mobile when the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” setting under Events > Settings > Display is set to “Full” – we are working on getting this resolved, but in the meantime, try switching to “Tribe Events Styles” to see if that gets things working again. You may need to clear out your browser cache and any caching that you’re doing on your server/via a plugin after making that change.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing! As soon as we have an update on this, we’ll let you know here. Please let me know if you have any questions before then.
Thanks,
Jennifer

September 11, 2018 at 2:31 pm in reply to: One of my events is not showing up in the calendar overview #1619018Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! Can you check in the settings area (Events > Settings) to see if there is a “Fix venues data” notice? If so, can you click it, clear out your browser cache (and any caching that you might be doing on your server/via a plugin), and check the map view again? If this doesn’t work, can you go to the venue (Events > Venues) and try using the latitude and longitude to see if that gets it displaying?
Let me know how this goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Caroline,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can make this change via a template override – the template you’ll want to customize can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/organizer.php.
You’ll want to modify this line:
<?php echo tribe_get_organizer_link( $organizer ) ?>We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!

September 11, 2018 at 1:44 pm in reply to: formerly working ical url imports stopped working, now stuck in limbo #1618970Jennifer
KeymasterOk, I am checking with the team on what could be happening with the debug log – this could possibly be happening due to a permissions issue/setting on your server.
Regarding the import issue, we are hoping to get a fix out for this sometime this week – in the meantime, you can try installing and activating this plugin to see if that helps. You can do this the same way that you do a regular plugin, by going to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Let me know if this helps! Either way, we’ll still let you know when the permanent fix is released!

KeymasterHi Mike,
Glad to hear things are working again now! I can definitely see how being able to add tickets from the WooCommerce Products section could be helpful – if you have a minute, please do post this as a feature request over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
In the meantime, just let us know if you run into any other issues or have questions on anything else!

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m glad to hear that you were able to get the button added.
To add a link to the list view, you can do a template override – the file that you’ll need to copy and edit can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/single-event.php.
You can also remove the “Find out more” link from your copy of that file if you would like to get rid of that. You’ll want to delete this code:
