I have a main ‘exhibitions’ page for an art gallery – showing Current & Upcoming events. I also need to display past events which I have done so using a custom URL http://www.msvuartgallery.ca/exhibitions/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past
The issue I have is that if I use the built in search – or the Pro Filter Bar which I purchases – the results will ONLY show current or upcoming events if I initiate the search while on this page http://www.msvuartgallery.ca/exhibitions/ and will ONLY show past events when I initiate the search on this page http://www.msvuartgallery.ca/exhibitions/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past.
This is confusing as it seems like there are no events from the past if one were to search while on the current (primary) exhibition page.
Any help? Thank you!

I tested this out on my end, and I believe that the way it is currently working is the way it is intended to work – if a user searches on any of the events views (outside of the past views), the default is that this will only include upcoming events. However, you should still see the “Previous Events” and “Next Events” links at the bottom of the results (provided there are events in either direction), which will allow users to go back in time from the current exhibitions.
If you would like to change the way that this displays, you could do so via a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot! If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. What I can do is flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
