ParticipantThe following event does not show up on the Map for all FL events, as seen on this page: https://www.seascapecreations.com/events/category/florida/
The 9/18 Seascape Window Workshop@Snappers Grill & Comedy Club – Palm Harbor, FL
September 18 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Snappers Grill & Comedy Club, 36657 US Hwy 19 N
Palm Harbor, FL 34684 United StatesWhen you click through to the event, the Google Map location is at the bottom of the page, so it seems as though the address is fine, but it doesn’t show up on the main Google Map displaying all Florida event locations. Any ideas why? And just as an FYI, the “Show Google Map” and “Show Google Maps Link” boxes are both checked off in the event backend.

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! Can you check in the settings area (Events > Settings) to see if there is a “Fix venues data” notice? If so, can you click it, clear out your browser cache (and any caching that you might be doing on your server/via a plugin), and check the map view again? If this doesn’t work, can you go to the venue (Events > Venues) and try using the latitude and longitude to see if that gets it displaying?
Let me know how this goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi,
Thank you for the suggestions to fix the issue. There was no “fix venues data” notice in the settings so I checked off “use latitude and longitude” and that didn’t work either. The odd thing is that the calendar shows the venue for the 10/23 event but not 9/18 and I can’t figure out for the life of me why it won’t show the 18th when they’re at the same location. The settings in the backend of both events are the same. I even tried duplicating the 9/18 event to a new event and it still wouldn’t show up on the map.
Thanks

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for trying that out and providing that additional info – the map view will only display the last event at a venue in the map view tooltip by default, but you can display all events in the tooltip with this free extension. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you? You may need to clear out your browser cache and any caching that you might be doing on your site after installing that extension to see both events in the tooltip.
Thanks,
Jennifer
