    Hi Mike,

Thanks for clarifying what you’re looking for here!

It looks like you might have come across the code (from this article) to use the full WooCommerce page instead of using the default ticket form – can you verify this?

Regarding not being able to edit the tickets, are you seeing any Javascript errors on the page when you try to edit them? You can check this by right-clicking the page, clicking “Inspect”, and going to the console, then trying to recreate the issue (edit the tickets). If you do see any errors, please copy/paste them here.

There isn’t a way that you can edit the dates on the WooCommerce product page since they are part of our plugin and not WooCommerce. Is the private page that you’re creating the tickets on an event? If not, then you shouldn’t have an “end sale date” by default.

I just added a ticket to the cart on your site as a test, and all appears to be working now on my end – are you still seeing this error at all with the new tickets that you created?

    Hi John,

Thanks for running through those steps! I created a new testing environment locally using PHP 5.6.3 to test this out, and the events page was working for me there.

Do you have any other pages on your sites that are trying to use the “events” slug (such as a Page named “Events”)? The Events Calendar should use the default events page instead in these situations, but it’s possible that this could cause a conflict if there is a competing “events” page. If you find one, can you try changing the slug of that page, flushing the permalinks, and taking another look at the page?

If not, can you try changing your events slug under Events > Settings > General > “Events URL slug”, flushing the permalinks, and see if you are getting anything then?

Since you were still seeing this issue in your testing environment (with all other plugins disabled and the Twentyseventeen theme enabled), please make sure to try these changes there as well with WP_DEBUG still enabled. If possible, please send a link to your testing site so that I can take a look.

    Thanks for clarifying that Georg!

I tested this out on my end using the settings in your screenshot and am not seeing a duplicate created using the “Weekly” option – did you initially use the “Once” option when you created this event? If you if you make a change to this event (which has only “Weekly” recurrence rules set) and click “Update”, are you seeing another duplicate created?

    Bonjour,

    Merci,

    Hi André,

Thanks for checking out our plugins! I am happy to answer your questions 🙂

You can require users to login to purchase tickets, but our plugins do not create accounts automatically. Our plugins use the default WordPress users, and if this requirement is enabled, users would need to create an account and login prior to being able to purchase tickets.

You can add descriptions to tickets when you create them, which will display on the default ticket form. Event Tickets Plus lets you create custom fields on tickets that you can use to collect additional information from users when they purchase tickets (such as the names and email addresses of each attendee). Users can go back and edit this information later – see this article for more details on how this works.

Using Event Tickets Plus (which integrates with either Easy Digital Downloads or WooCommerce to sell tickets), once a user has purchased tickets, they will receive one email with their tickets and one order confirmation email from the ecommerce platform – EDD or Woo. We do have a free extension that will attach a PDF copy of the ticket to the ticket email, which users can print. Both the email and the PDF will include the QR code (a feature of Event Tickets Plus). If you prefer not to use EDD or Woo, you can also use Tribe Commerce (which comes with Event Tickets). This lets you integrate directly with PayPal to sell tickets on your site. Regarding other payment gateways, this would be handled through EDD or Woo, depending on which platform you went with. You can see the gateways that are supported by each here:

    https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/861-payment-gateways

    https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways

You can use our plugins in multisite environments – you can read more about how multisite licenses work here.

Currently, The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Filter Bar have a high compatibility with WPML, but Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus do not. However, our plugins are translatable – you can read more about how this works here.

Finally, your best bet for sending users a printable calendar of the event schedule would be to use the additional fields (an Events Calendar Pro feature) to add a link to this schedule to the event, then add this field to the ticket email that is sent to attendees. You would need to do this via a template override. This post has an example that you could use as a starting point.

If you do need to make any customizations, you would need to hire a developer; we are not currently able to assist with customizations.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus or any of our other premium plugins for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Graham,

Thanks for reaching out! Events are a custom post type (tribe_events) which follow a slightly different hierarchy than regular pages…one thing to check here is what you have set under Events > Settings > Display > Events Template – if you have “Default Events Template” selected, then the template used will be default-template.php, found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views.

Just to clarify, are you trying to get the events page to use the same sidebar as other pages on your site, or a different sidebar? If you are adding a new sidebar, you could add it here via a template override.

    Hi Ron,

I just checked on our internal ticket for this, and unfortunately I don’t have an ETA that I can give you yet. As soon as we do have some news, you’ll be notified automatically here. I’m sorry I don’t have a solution for you on this yet, but please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with in the meantime!

    Hi David,

As long as the ETIX API provides the information that you want to include (you would need to review their API to make sure), there should be no problem accessing it (via code that you would need to write) and passing it to our templates (via template overrides or by hooking into any actions that might work for you) to display on the events pages. If you’re asking whether or not you can make these calls directly from within your copy of the templates – there shouldn’t be any problem doing so.

I hope that clears things up, but please let me know if not!

Krystyna, quick update here – this issue with the date picker has been confirmed and logged. As with the other issues, I’ve linked your thread to it, so we’ll update you here soon.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the issues here! We are working hard to get them resolved and release fixes as quickly as we can.

    Hi Karri!

Just to clarify here, is this happening with the Community Events front end submission form, or is this happening on the back end? If it’s with Community Events, can you check that the “Users cannot create new venues” option under Events > Settings > Community (see screenshot) is unchecked? While settings shouldn’t be changed during updates, sometimes things like this can happen.

If it is unchecked or this is happening on the back end, then there could be something else on your site that is conflicting with Community Events – you can check for this by running through the steps outlined here. If you don’t have a testing site already and would prefer not to do this on your live site, the free Duplicator or WP Staging plugins can help you get one set up. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see here. I would look first at any membership plugins you might be using or any plugins/settings in your theme that affect user roles/permissions.

Can you also share your full system info with me?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I apologize for the further issues here! We are working on getting these issues with the “Once” rule resolved and hope to release a fix here shortly – this thread is linked to our internal ticket for this, so as soon as this is released, we’ll let you know here. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
