ParticipantWe have a template where we used [tribe_events] shortcode for showing calendar. In that page( lets say www.******.com/calendar), while clicking on next month nav then its loading content of next month and the url is getting changed with query parameter tribe-bar-date=2018-08 (www.******.com/calendar/?tribe-bar-date=2018-08). But after that if we are again clicking on next month then the url is getting changed to default events url with query parameter (www.******.com/events/?tribe-bar-date=2018-09) and it should be www.******.com/calendar/?tribe-bar-date=2018-09.
Then clicking on next/prev again n again, notice message is appearing on top of calendar (The requested date “Array” was not valid – showing the current month instead).
This is an issue with plugin. Please let us know how to fix this.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

ParticipantHi Victor/Jennifer,
Is there any update on this prev/next nav issue fix?
Can you please provide some guidance so that we can fix the issue by ourselves since the site is LIVE.
Thanks.

KeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay here, we’ve had a higher than normal support volume this past week.
It looks like the last update resolved this issue for the other users who reported it, and I am no longer seeing the “The requested date “Array” was not valid” in my local environment or on your testing site. It looks like this issue with the URL is separate, and I do see that we have a ticket open for this already – it is currently being worked on by our developers, but I don’t have an ETA yet as to when the fix will be released. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution I can give you as to what code changes you could make yourself. If you would like to dive into the code, I can tell you that the functions that generate the navigation links for month view – tribe_events_the_previous_month_link() and tribe_events_the_next_month_link() – are found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/month.php. However, I don’t have any information from our developers as to where this issue is originating from, so unless you are experienced with PHP, I would recommend waiting for the fix to be released. I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you there!
Until then, can you verify that the original issue with the error appearing has been resolved?
Thanks,
Jennifer
