KeymasterHi Marina,
Thanks for your response.
Another option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Just to let you know, this thread will self-close in three weeks, so if it closes before you get to testing, feel free to open up a new thread and reference this one, so that we can jump right back in.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tom,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
Event Tickets Plus works with various e-commerce frameworks: WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce or Shopp. Each e-commerce plugin supports various payment method, some of them out of the box some of them via extensions.
For the particular combo you are asking about: Square + WooCommerce, that seems possible with the Square for WooCommerce extension. This should play nicely with our ticketing plugins, as once the tickets are added to the cart the payment is processed entirely by the e-commerce plugin (Woo in this case).
Anyway I suggest you try this out, while we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy. WooCommerce has a very similar policy for their extensions.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

Unfortunately, I’m not able to replicate the issue that you are experiencing with our shortcode, as it appears for me as expected.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Darren,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you experienced so many issues with updating Eventbrite Tickets.
You may be interested in the following extension, so that you can change the locale of Eventbrite to a a .co.uk address:

If you’d like to continue troubleshooting your other issues, let me know. If so, I’d recommend setting up a staging site for this purpose.

Are you setting this up as a Scheduled Import or a One-time import? Can you provide me with the URL that you are importing?

KeymasterHi Sarah,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
The tickets email comes from our plugin, however the confirmation email does come from WooCommerce, so you may have to customize through WooCommerce.

KeymasterHi Paul,
I just want to make sure that we are on the same page. I’m seeing that you have Community Events but not Community Tickets. Is that correct?
The screenshot you shared shows the license for Community Events. Is Community Events working as expected for you?
Do you have any other licenses that you used another email to purchase?
It looks like you may have purchased Eventbrite Tickets instead of Community Tickets. Is that possible?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime
