Events Calendar Pro and Divi Extra theme

Hi

I have just purchased the events plugin, and I would like to be about to use it with the Divi Extra theme.

Here’s what I need to achieve – I am already using a child theme.

1. To enable posts within chosen categories – or a category – from the events system to display in the blog feeds and category builder pages.

2. To add a blog feed that is specifically for the upcoming events in the events system which can sit below the latest news feed.

I have already tried switching on the ‘Include events in main blog loop’ – but this only works on the WordPress default blog page. I need it to work with the blog feeds provided in Divi Extra theme.

Can you help me with code to make this happen?

You can use a shortcode to add upcoming events to your news feed.  The following is a list of all available shortcodes:
