    Facebook is authorized and the event is public and definitely exists. Plugins are updated as well.

    Usually the auto-import works via the page that is hosting the event but suddenly it’s not.
    Tried Facebook single import to specifically import a single event but it’s returning “Your preview doesn’t have any records to import.”

    Any idea what’s going on?

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access/) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an affect on a number of our users.

    We are currently figuring things out as they continue to evolve with the Facebook Privacy Policy. For now, the best places to check in on the status of our plugin’s access to Facebook are https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/ and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.

    Thanks, so this begs the question…
    Will Facebook ever allow event data to be pulled from the API or are we SOL?
    Are there ways around this?

    This is pretty much the sole reason we’ve purchased the event aggregator!

    Hi Christopher,

    At this time, I cannot provide any more information on if/when this functionality will return, but we are working to find a solution for our customers.

    I wish I had more information to give, but unfortunately I do not.  We have had customers try to create workarounds by exporting the Facebook events via .ics and importing them with Event Aggregator that way, but I cannot provide any additional support on this process.
