    Hi Brett,

Yes, you are correct.  That is what you should change it to.

Just to make sure that we are being thorough, can you take me through the process of adding your RSVPs?

Are they being imported, or just added to the backend?

Can you provide me with one example screenshot of one that isn’t working?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Search bar to search all events #1579916

    Hi Robin,

If you are in a different view besides Month View (like List View) and you increase the number of events you see in the settings (Events Settings < General), then you will able to see more future events than besides the current month.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

I apologize for the confusion, however unfortunately, importing recurring events via CSV is not possible at this time. A workaround is to import the initial occurrence as a single event, then go into that event and edit it to become a recurring event. That will generate all the other events in the recurrence series.

There isn’t an easy way to overwrite events, but you can change your Event Update Authority so that events will be updated automatically.

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

    Hi Steven,

Glad to hear that you went ahead and made the purchase!

Now that you have the plugin, can you re-post this question in our Event Aggregator forum, so that we can assist you over there:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/event-aggregator/#dl_new-post

You can reference this thread over there as well and start off with providing us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Thanks,

Glad to hear it, you are welcome back in our support forums any time!

Since this issue has been resolved, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Hi Ellie,

Are you still seeing the “Currently migrating…” message on the backend?

In the meantime, can you try this with a fresh WordPress install and see if the issue still occurs there?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Lucy,

I was just providing you with an alternative solution while we wait for this bug to be resolved.

You certainly do not have to go that route and can wait for the bug to be fixed.

I apologize if there was any confusion, and I understand your frustration in wanting this bug to be fixed as soon as possible.

I can assure you that this is on our radar and you will be notified when a fix has become available.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Ryan,

Unfortunately I cannot provide further assistance on this issue, as per our Support Policy, as it is an issue with the theme and not our plugin.

We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Benjamin,

I completely understand.  Can you take a screenshot of one of the recent events that is having this issue, so that I can try to replicate that as well?

As I mentioned, I haven’t been able to replicate the issue yet, so I’m hesitant to call it a bug at this point.

In the meantime, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Note that https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-detective/ may prove helpful as well. (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us)

Can you please also enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Imported Events duplicating #1579891

    Hi Esther,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

As a nextt troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Also, can you enable and check the Event Log under Events < Help to see if you see anything unusual?

Right under that is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event Aggregator is not working…. #1579890

    Hi Brenda,

Thanks for running through that test.

Do you have another way to link to that event, or provide me with the name of the event so that I can search for it?

In general, the event URL should look something like this:

    http://www.eventbrite.com/e/event-name-here-12345678

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: css and SEO issue #1579883

    Hi Rika,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.  It’s worth noting that Google does not index CSS files, so it should not cause any SEO issues.

The following third-party blog post can show you how to unblock all CSS for Google:

Let me know if that helps!

in reply to: What is searchable? #1579882

    Hi Derek,

Unfortunately there is not a way to include the venue in the Search Bar, however you can definitely try to include the venue data in the description and hide it with CSS.

Please note that support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.

I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

in reply to: RSVP stock amount not correct #1579372

    Hi Brett,

As far as the deprecated notice goes, are you utilizing this function in any way?  In other words, are there any customizations related to it?

You can update the function to include the new Tribe__Events__Pro__Main instead.

In addition, at this point I think it would be a good idea to get a database dump from you in order to see if we can replicate the issue (if that is something that you’re comfortable with).

You can use a third-party plugin to do that if your hosting company doesn’t provide one.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Shay,

Okay, now I see what you mean.  Thanks for clarifying.

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

    Thanks,

    Jaime
