GuestI want to use the Event Aggregator to pull events from an office 365 shared calendar via an ICS link. How do I get an image attached to the Calendar event in a way that aggregator will make that image the featured image so it has an image for the event. Are there any ways to have images in the event description as well?

KeymasterHi Steven
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
With Event Aggregator, when you import via .ics file, your featured images will be automatically imported into the WordPress Featured Image slot, so that your event will be associated with an image.
If you’d like to add in an image afterwards, you can edit your event and add it in as a featured image at that point instead.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

GuestI wasn’t clear. I mean, what part of the actual calendar even in the office365 view is pulled in as the image for the wordpress event? is it the attachement? or do you put an image in the beginning of the event in the o365 calendar? I’m trying to see how it takes calendar data and puts that into the events, specifically how you would set the event image in the office calendar. This is using the URL method, not an upload method

GuestI guess I didnt explain my question well.
In wordpress events have a featured image. this is what you see when you hover the item on the calendar, and what shows at the top of the event when viewed.
How in outlook calendar do I attach or use images in a way that would transfer over to the events automatically, as far as I can tell the only then the sync does is plain text and it strips all images.

KeymasterHi Steven,
The above way is the only way that I am aware of to attach an image to an event in Outlook.
We also have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if things really don’t work out the way you’d hoped, you can get a full refund.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantWell I went ahead and made the purchase and did an import from the .ics web link. I tried copy/pasting images into the office365 body of the Calendar Event, I tried using the image button to attach the image, and I tried actually attaching an image to the event. None of these worked in the sync. All the events synced via the event aggregator ignored the images. Is there a documented way to get office365 events WITH IMAGES through the aggregator and into the website events without having to manually set event featured image after the import?
