    Hello!

In the front end List view, the RSVP ticket may say there are 10 spaces available but going onto the course and looking at the attendee list, it is very much fully booked. This has happened apparently after updating the last couple of updates.

This seems to be a reoccurring problem with my website and I truly thought I was past this issue and I absolutely cannot, for the life of me, work out why it’s doing it. I was told in the past to re-upload the events I have on there but there are literally hundreds, it is impossible to do that, and even though I had created new ones since the last time I had issues, it’s happening again.

Yes, I have used Health Check and disabled all plugins as well as my custom code but the number is still the same. I have created new events since contacting in the past with an issue and the problem has arose once again.

The issue is predominantly on the RSVP tickets, not WooCommerce.

Please help as we are constantly getting complaints and my ‘apologies’ message can only do so much 🙁

    Hi Brett,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

I’m sorry to hear that this issue is still occurring.

Is this happening on all of your events with RSVPs?

Can you take a screenshot of one of the events on the backend where you are seeing this issue?

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hello Jaime!

    I’m so sorry I’m back… 🙁

It’s happening to almost all of them. Front end may say there are 15 spaces but it’s actually fully booked on one event, front end may say there are 8 spaces but there are only 2 out of 12 spaces, front end may say there are 2 spaces and there actually are 2 out of 12.

There is literally no consistency to this error haha.

Screenshots show the numbers displayed on the two front end pages and the two and back end sections of just one event. Sorry, I couldn’t screenshot much more!

    Yes there was this:
[19-Jul-2018 13:40:22 UTC] PHP Notice: /customers/2/0/f/hcpa.info/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/deprecated/TribeEventsPro.php is deprecated since version 3.10! Use Tribe__Events__Pro__Main instead. in /customers/2/0/f/hcpa.info/httpd.www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3981

I’m honestly not sure what to do with deprecated files like this. Am I supposed to delete the old one?

    Hi Brett,

As far as the deprecated notice goes, are you utilizing this function in any way?  In other words, are there any customizations related to it?

You can update the function to include the new Tribe__Events__Pro__Main instead.

In addition, at this point I think it would be a good idea to get a database dump from you in order to see if we can replicate the issue (if that is something that you’re comfortable with).

You can use a third-party plugin to do that if your hosting company doesn’t provide one.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brett,

Yes, you are correct.  That is what you should change it to.

Just to make sure that we are being thorough, can you take me through the process of adding your RSVPs?

Are they being imported, or just added to the backend?

Can you provide me with one example screenshot of one that isn’t working?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jaime,

No worries. So I have changed all instances of ‘TribeEventsPro()’ to ‘Tribe__Events__Pro__Main()’ which has had no effect unfortunately…

Oh! So the manually added RSVP courses do not have an error even with deleted delegates, I didn’t even notice that!

So then the problem is with all of the imported courses. The process of these is fairly straight forward; we would create a CSV file with all of the courses and their number of spaces, then import via the CSV upload. We would then block out a few hours to go through each course to make sure their descriptions were put in and accurate, we would check the dates start and end times (because sometimes these would change during import), availability and check when tickets were to go on sale.

Please find screenshots of another course as requested. 🙂

    Hi Brett,

Okay, so when the events are imported, everything appears normal, right?

In other words, the capacity is correct?  So this happens once RSVPs start to book up?

Can you provide me with the CSV you use to import the RSVPs?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brett,

Thanks for providing me with that CSV.

I found it to be a bit confusing, and perhaps that confusion is why this issue is occurring.

Are you importing your events separately from the RSVPs?  The best way to do this would be to use the examples provided in the following article and first import your events, and then using the RSVP example CSV, import the RSVPs.  Also, I’m not seeing a capacity field on your RSVP CSV, so perhaps that is why there is some confusion with the capacity.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jaime,

I think because we thought it would be easier to upload what we had but amended slightly to suit the system online we did it that way.

I also think capacity was something we wanted to come back to, and add in afterwards. We definitely used the templates in the first instance!

Either way, there’s not a lot that can be done with the current events, is there? I can’t understand how the CSV importing would have thrown it out of sync like this…!

    Hi Brett,

Unfortunately, as far as the current events go, you may need to manually adjust those events, and/or delete the RSVPs and start over there.

Going forward, I’d recommend adding the events separately from the RSVPs and following the CSV examples that we provide in order to prevent this from happening in the future.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Hi Jaime,

That’s unfortunate as there’s so many…! No problem. Thank you. 🙂
