KeymasterHi Ivy,
Thanks for providing me with this information.
I do see that you are using older versions of our plugins on your staging site (where List View appears to be working). Can you try downgrading and seeing if that resolves the issue?
You can do so via your downloads page: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterYou can enable the debug log by adding
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );anddefine( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );to your wp-config.php file. Once these are enabled, you can see your debug log by going to http://westernalleghenylibrary.org/wp-content/debug.logLet me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!

December 15, 2017 at 10:40 am in reply to: Warning: plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Cost_Utils.php on line 110 #1406583Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Robert,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Does this warning cause any issues on your site? If so, what issues are you seeing?
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Anna,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Can you be more specific about the issue that you are experiencing when importing events from Facebook onto your site? I’d love to do some testing on my end and would love to know exactly what to look out for!
In the meantime, can you look at your Event Aggregator System Status under Events Settings < Help, and see if there is anything unusual. Can you also enable your Event Log (right above Event Aggregator System Status) if it is not already?
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for providing such a detailed description of your issue!
Unfortunately, this is currently a known bug in our plugin.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Lubomir,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue on your site. I did not see any console errors when I visited your site, though I also did not see the map, so I assume the issue is still present.
As a next step, try adding one of the snippets outlined in the following forum post:

The REST API should be accessible with the free version of our plugin. If you have any further questions, please post in our WordPress.org forum for The Events Calendar, so that we can assist you there!

KeymasterHi Ken,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide. The related-events.php and single-event.php files are a good starting point.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

KeymasterHi Diane,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is a bug with emptying the trash and PHP version 7.1.
In the meantime, the workaround is to add
$recurrence_meta = array();around line 420 in wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Meta.php. This should allow you to empty the trash as needed.I would advise creating a backup of your site before adding this code to your site and also creating a copy of this file, as outlined in our Themer’s Guide, just to be safe:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I am going to mark this thread as Pending Fix for now, but please feel free to reach out with any additional questions that you may have!
Thanks,
Jaime
