KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks so much for reaching out! I apologize for the delayed response, and we really appreciate your patience in this process.
As a first step, would you mind linking me to some of the Facebook groups where your events are not importing from, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tracy,
Would you mind sending me an updated version of your system information, with all of the changes that we’ve made?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, does unchecking “Use Javascript to control date filtering” under Events Settings < General make any difference after you Save Changes?
Also, did you get a chance to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Maria,
Thanks so much for providing me with that information!
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Dan,
Okay, I understand what you mean. Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend seeing if you can find where those links are located within the plugin code and copying and modifying it, based on the steps outlined in the Themer’s Guide, which I linked to previously.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Neville,
The test file I sent you included only one event. Would you mind taking a screenshot of what you see when it is imported? I want to make sure that you are seeing what you should be seeing when it is important, so that we know if it is expected behavior on your site.
I can certainly live with the importer just importing the whole location field as a venue.
For now, this is the way that venues are imported and this is expected behavior. However the fact that not all venues are imported should not be happening. Can you try to create a bare WordPress install (default theme like Twentyseventeen and only Events Calendar plugins activated) and import your calendar and see if the issue still exists?
I know this process can be frustrating and tedious, but for now this is the way our support works and we appreciate your patience in this process.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Lubo,
Okay, I see the error message now, thank you. Can you try starting over and creating a new key, using the procedure outlined here:

KeymasterHi Tracy,
Can you take a look at your Date Format Settings under Events Settings < Display?
It looks like your Date with Year format may be incorrect and causing the issue. This article can show you how to format things properly:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
In addition, please take a look at your WP Date formatting under Settings < General. You may want to reset your permalinks again after this process.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ivy,
Thank you for bearing with me! I have tried to replicate this scenario on my own test site and have been unable to do so.
And yes, I noticed that it works on the reload but not on the initial load of the page.
In any case, I just visited http://sunbridge.staging.wpengine.com/courses-workshops-events/ and http://www.sunbridge.edu/courses-workshops-events/ and I see that Upcoming Events are listed for January.
Has the issue been resolved? If not, let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Troy,
So just to clarify, are you able to make things work by this method manually? Or are you still experiencing the issue? Your server timezone is set to UTC, so you may want to check with your server to see if you can adjust that timezone.
Have you been able to update your plugins?
In addition, there are a number of mixed content error messages appearing in the console, so I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin, like this one, in order to resolve those errors.
It also seems that you do not have any Google Map API Keys, you can learn more about that configuration here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/
Let me know how it all goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Benjamin,
Since there is no meta description by default, you can use this code snippet to add what you’re wanting:
