KeymasterHi Matt,
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with upgrading versions of your plugins. We have changed the way that events, and especially recurring events, are stored in the database since the first incarnation of the plugin. That may be why you are seeing the issues that you are seeing.
Let me know how you’d like to proceed and how I can further assist you.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Antonio,
Since you are already working on the issue of reaching your daily limit elsewhere, I will leave that issue there for now.
In regards to the performance on your site, it is normal for an ID to be created in the POSTS table, although the high volume of IDs created in your database may have to do with all of the failing imports.
You can install a plugin like Query Monitor, which may be able to give you some more information about what is slowing down your site.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHola Antonio,
Gracias,

KeymasterThat’s great to hear!
Robert- let us know if the issue still exists after updating your plugin!

KeymasterHi Laura,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Would you mind pointing me to an event where you are seeing this issue occur?
As a first step, I would recommend flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, I’d recommend running through the steps outlined in this article:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Timothy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
You may be interested in this function, which gets all of the organizers, and you may be able to modify it to achieve the results you are looking for:
https://theeventscalendar.com/function/tribe_get_organizers/
In addition, here is our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates and views can be modified:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Also, you can display information by organizer using a shortcode, as outlined here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
And lastly, if this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know how it goes!

KeymasterHi Bethany,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues on your site!
From where can you no longer select a Venue or Organizer? Is this from the front end or backend?
As a first step, would you mind updating Event Tickets Plus to the most recent version and testing if the issue still occurs?
As far as your other issue goes, are you referring to the “Events From” date search in the Tribe Bar?
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
December 18, 2017 at 9:30 am in reply to: Filter bar is no appearing when using the shortcode #1407973Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Raj,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
By default, the Filter Bar appears on the main events page only. You may be able to achieve this customization, though we are limited by our Support Policy on how much we can assist with customizations.
You could try to add some custom code like this in order to display the Filter Bar elsewhere:
http://gregorypearcey.com/blog/add-tribe-events-search-bar-home-page/
You could also try to modify something like this for Filter Bar:

Please feel free to vote on this suggestion in our Feature Requests, as we take customer feedback into account when implementing new features:
In addition, here is our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which views and templates can be copied and edited:

KeymasterHola Antonio,

https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/performance-considerations/
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/decreasing-loading-time-for-big-amount-of-events/

Thanks,

KeymasterHi Penny,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately this is related to a known bug that we are currently working on.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime
