Events Calendar Pro – tribe_get_events with Organizer query

In a custom template I am using tribe_get_events with ‘eventDisplay’ => ‘custom’ to display a singular Featured event. That is working fine.

If there are no featured events, I would like to display a the next upcoming event from a specific organizer. Is this possible with tribe_get_events? If not, how can I make this query? I will be customizing the display of the event.

You may be interested in this function, which gets all of the organizers, and you may be able to modify it to achieve the results you are looking for:
