KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations. I unfortunately don’t have a solid answer for this issue off the top of my head.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Matthew,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can hide that message by adding the following bit of CSS to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet:
div.tribe-link-view-attendee{
display:none;

KeymasterHi Ford,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
It sounds like you are making a lot of progress with your customizations, which is great!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
A great place to start would be our Themer’s Guide, which can show you what views and templates that you can copy and edit to achieve the results that you are looking for.

KeymasterHi Lynne,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
Our plugins can definitely accommodate high-volume sales, as long as you are equipped with a hosting provider who can also handle this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Urs,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

I’m sorry to hear that you are having this conflict with Avada theme and our plugins. Avada is on our list of compatible themes and they are usually pretty helpful in getting things to play nicely together, so it may be worth it to reach out to them and see if they have a workaround for you.
In addition, Avada now has its own minfication that is on by default. It will compress CSS and JS within the Avada product. There’s a button in Avada to disable the feature and to clear its cache. For testing purposes, I would do both. Set “CSS Compiling method” to Disabled. Set “Enable JS Compiler” to OFF. Reset Fusion Caches.
It’s located under Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS & JS.
If you are still experiencing this issue after that, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Please let me know if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sourabh,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue!
Unfortunately, we cannot correspond directly via email or Skype, so we will keep all communications here.
It seems that this is related to a known issue that we are currently working on.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.
I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Stanley,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot your issue if you are interested.
If so, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Also, what is the issue that occurs with recurring events when used with your theme? Does this issue resolve itself when you switch to a default theme like Twentyseventeen?
And finally, if you still would rather have a refund, you can receive a full refund with the following form:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Thomas,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
Yes, in order to import your Google Calendar into your Events Calendar on your website, you will need to add-on Event Aggregator. You can schedule imports so that imports will happen automatically each day, week, or whenever you decide.
Unfortunately at this time, color coding will not sync with the Events Calendar, however you may be able to achieve something like this with a customization.
You can also add color coding in later with a third-party plugin, like this one.
Additionally, you can add this idea to our feature requests, as we implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if you have any other questions!

The following forum posts have some more information about how search engines display your data and have some plugin suggestions for how to alter things:

KeymasterHi Tracy,
Thanks for providing me with that information and for enabling the debug log.
In the debug log, there are a number of notices related to Gravity Forms and Contact Form 7. If you disable those plugins, does the issue still exist?
There is also a notice related to the theme. Can you confirm that you already tried switching themes to a default theme like Twentyseventeen?
Also, I noticed that you have “Submit an Event” listed twice on your Community Events page. Are you using custom code or another form to display that? I’d recommend temporarily removing that to see if things work properly.
We also released a Maintenance Release of Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, so you can update your plugins as well.
Let me know how all of that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
