Can Event Tickets Plus handle high volume sales and check-in?

I have a client in the event business who needs to be able to handle the following volume of sales and check-in:

• Sell 500 tickets per hour, sustained over 48 hours.
• Check in 20,000 tickets over a weekend at the rate of 30 tickets per minute, sustained over 12 hours.

Can your software handle that type of volume — assuming the web hosting is up to the task?
