KeymasterHi Emily,
I’m sorry to hear that your site is running slowly with use of our plugins.
As a first step, please have a look at our Performance Considerations and see if there is anything you can adjust in order to help your site run better:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/performance-considerations/
After that, you may be interested in caching, so take a look at this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/
In addition, you can check out some of the solutions provided in this forum post:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/decreasing-loading-time-for-big-amount-of-events/
I would also recommend looking into some of the plugins in this blog post, as they may be able to help you pinpoint where site slowness may be occurring:

KeymasterHi Wendy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

In the meantime, have a look at our New User Primer:

KeymasterHi Adrienne,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
The template you’ll want to copy and edit is: wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/single-event.php
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tyler,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Can you also provide me with the URL that you are importing, so that I can do some testing on my end as well?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tyler,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
It looks like you have the default ticket quantity set to 1. How are you going about doing that? If you remove that customization, does it work as expected?
It looks like if you change the quantity to 2 tickets, then the form does appear. And if you decrease the quantity to 1 from there, then the form appears there as well.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jill,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is not a way to change the user who is registered, as the person who purchases the tickets is the name on the attendee list.
You can however change the default quantity using the following WooCommerce snippet, which may help to dispel some of that confusion:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/adjust-the-quantity-input-values/
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Erwin,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
With Event Tickets Plus, users can purchase tickets to your events. You can create a fixed quantity of tickets, so that users can book tickets to a capacity for the event.
If you are looking to book a facility, I suppose the best way to accomplish that would be to set up a single ticket for each time slot.
It’s also worth noting that we do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program, where we provide free Personal Licenses for Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved nonprofits.
You can apply here if you’d like:

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ron,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
To start off, what method were you using to set a minimum quantity for your tickets?
You can try the following WooCommerce snippet to see if that works for you:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/adjust-the-quantity-input-values/
Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Julie,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Charging a shipping or table rate is not possible with our plugins out of the box. You might be able to set up some kind of a registration / subscription model with WooCommerce and an addon for your site and handle it that, but that is beyond the scope of our plugins.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/

KeymasterHi Johannes,
I am not testing with orders on your site, as I do not have access to your site backend. It’s also worth noting that unfortunately we cannot log in to your site per our Support Policy, but I will do my best to assist you here.
Let me know how the above suggestions go for you!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Nancy,
I’m sorry that you are still experiencing this issue. I’m still not able to replicate this issue, as when I import that Eventbrite URL, it imports to my site as expected.
Can you try setting up a fresh WordPress install and importing the event there and see what happens there?
Let me know the results that you find!
Thanks,
Jaime
August 9, 2018 at 5:32 am in reply to: How can we import recurring events with Event PRO and Aggregator #1593710Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterI’m not quite sure if you saw my previous response, however unfortunately, importing recurring events via CSV is not possible at this time. A workaround is to import the initial occurrence as a single event, then go into that event and edit it to become a recurring event. That will generate all the other events in the recurrence series.
There isn’t an easy way to overwrite events, but you can change your Event Update Authority so that events will be updated automatically.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
