    Hello again πŸ™‚

    Can you possibly update TEC and PRO to the most recent versions, then retest the behavior with the default WP theme and only our plugins active? It would also be helpful if you could create a new event for this issue and compare if the behavior occurs on existing events and the new test event you’ve created.

    Once I have that information back I’ll have a better idea as to what is going on. Thanks and have a good afternoon. Cheers!

    Thanks again for your patience while I further discussed your issue with the support team. We have a bug relative to the Month View iCal export resulting in the same for all months and starts at events furthest in future. A fix is set to be included in the next maintenance release, so please stay tuned to the plugin changelogs and Release Notes for more information.

    a) What are the exact errors you’re getting in Outlook? b) What version of Outlook are you using? c) Are you using the web version or traditional desktop app?

    Thanks again for your continued patience, things have been a little crazier than normal around here. Have a good day πŸ™‚

    Hi Martha,

    Welcome back and I’m sorry to see you’re having to deal with some hair-pulling issues. I can completely understand your frustration. It is always best to do updates on a test site where you can ensure everything goes as planned, then transfer the content from the test site to the live site. My favorite plugin for the less-than-tech-savvy users is WP DB Migrate Pro. It allows you to “push” and “pull” your database and WP folders to and from your live site with the simple push of a button.

    With that said, before you go restoring backups which don’t contain all the data you’ve recently collected, please review our Testing for conflicts guide to see if it’s a simple theme and/or plugin conflict.

    I also see in your System Information that you’re using WP Super Cache. Take it from someone who has struggled for countless hours (days, probably months actually!) trying to find the right configuration for WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache – it would be in your best interest to try out WP Rocket. It is hands down the most effective caching plugin I’ve tried and their support rivals with yours truly.

    I hope my answer has helped shed some light on the matter and I’ll provide more resources below relative to caching and performance. Please keep me updated on what you find out after your testing and have a great rest of your day πŸ™‚

    Hey Stanley πŸ™‚

    Welcome back! I’d be more than happy to help further investigate your issue.

    This does work when in ADMIN mode but not in regular user mode.

    This statement leads me to believe you’re experiencing an issue from a caching plugin if you have one installed and activated. Before I’m able to provide more support, I’ll need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out. Please include your System Information as a private reply.

    Once I have that information I’ll have a better idea on how to proceed. Thanks and have a pleasant rest of the day. Cheers!

    Hello,

    This is indeed the place to receive support! We’ve been a little backed up as of late, so we truly appreciate your patience while we catch up! I’d be happy to provide further assistance, but before doing so can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you learn? Please include your System Information as a private reply.

    Once I’ve got that information I’ll have a better idea on how to proceed. Thanks again for your patience and have a great evening πŸ™‚

    Hey Jay,

    First off, thank you for your purchase and welcome to our premium plugin support forums! I’d be happy to help investigate, but unfortunately these types of conflicts are outside the scope we’re able to cover. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.

    With that said, I recommend testing again but make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

    Seeing you weren’t able to find anything resembling your issue in our forums, have you possibly contacted the Avada team to see if they have any insight on the matter? Their custom template overrides might have something to do with the issue, but I’m honestly shooting in the dark here. You also might want to review our Themer’s Guide to see if you can identify any potential outdated code existing in your theme’s template overrides.

    Have you reviewed our Stylesheets and Page Templates and event settings overview KB articles to see if a simple setting might resolve the conflict?

    I’d be happy to see if I can provide any assistance based on what you find, but I cannot guarantee anything. If things get beyond your level of expertise, it might be best you hire a professional developer. We have a list of non-affiliated customizers for these instances.

    Thanks again and please keep me updated. Cheers!

    Hi and welcome back πŸ™‚

    We unfortunately are not able to provide support for conflicts with themes and plugins by other authors. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.

    A way you can hopefully identify the specific conflict would be to ensure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

    I’d be happy to take another look to see if I have any insight based on your response, but I cannot promise anything. If things get beyond your level of expertise, it might be best to hire a professional developer to resolve the conflict. We have a list of non-affiliated customizers that can help assist.

    Thanks and have a wonderful rest of your day πŸ™‚

    Hello and welcome πŸ™‚

    To confirm you are experiencing the behavior from the known bug, I’ll need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you learn. This is a required step to continue receiving troubleshooting support.

    As Cliff points out in his first response, we are aware of the issue and a fix will be included in an upcoming maintenance release. We aren’t permitted to provide timeframes in this situation, but we’ll happily update this thread once we have more information. As I previously mentioned, I won’t be able to confirm your issue is a product of the faulty code nor include this forum thread to the logged bug report until I have the results from the Testing for conflicts guide.

    Have you tried using the Firefox browser to see if it has any effect on the behavior? Do you see any errors in the browser console when using your Inspect tool? Please review this KB tutorial for more information and if any errors display, please share them with me. Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

    Lastly, please include your System Information as a private reply. Thank you and have a pleasant rest of your day. Cheers!

    Hey Jesse πŸ™‚

    First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to be so thorough in your initial post about past discussions on the topic, solutions already considered, and the issues you’re currently running in to.

    I located a feature report we have logged aimed to include pagination for the sales & attendees report pages. It’s a Priority Level 2 which is an indication it’s being worked on and a solution should be available in the near future. I unfortunately cannot provide any kind of timeframe. The information you’ve shared with me will be helpful to the developers as they prepare to improve coding relative to ET/ET+ and performance, so thanks again!

    If you don’t mind me asking, what hosting company are you using for this particular site? Are you on shared hosting? I too have experienced plenty of difficulties with performance, but after transitioning my site to DigitalOcean (Pantheon is also recommended) and ditching the usual suspects (W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache) for WP Rocket, it has made a huge difference on performance. I’ve also payed heavy attention to my server’s error logs to see if there is anything I can do on the server level to improve performance. I’ll provide all the relative documentation I have regarding performance below, so please review any of them you’re unfamiliar with:

    Now, with all that said, there is not much more I can do to improve your current situation, but I hope I’ve helped shed a little light on some possible solutions until we can incorporate the pagination feature into the sales & attendees report pages.

    Please let me know if you’ve got any additional thoughts or concerns on the matter and have a pleasant rest of your day. Cheers!

    Hello,

    I’d be happy to take a further look, but before doing so can you please confirm you have reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide? If not, please do so and reply back with your findings. This is a required step to continue receiving troubleshooting support. Please include your System Information as a private reply.

    Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. Stephanie,

    I was able to reproduce the exact behavior you’ve shared with me based on following the instructions in this response.

    Coincidentally, another support team member identified this conflict with another user, so I’ll include this forum thread to the report for the developers to review. I don’t have a precise date when a fix will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

    Hi and welcome back πŸ™‚

    I’ve gone ahead and tested to see if I experienced any issues with Community Events when using Disqus as my comment system, however I do want to point out that while Disqus may be a fairly popular plugin, we do not officially support conflicts between it and any of our plugins.

    While there are errors relative to Disqus in my browser’s console when viewing my sample post on a test site, the comments look and perform fine for me. See screenshot below for reference:

    I also notice you checked yes to deactivating all plugins other than ours to see if there was a potential conflict, but can you please review the Testing for conflicts guide in it’s entirety so we can get the full picture of what’s going on?

    It would also be helpful if you could send your System Information as a private reply. We had a known issue between the native WP comments and Community Events a few versions back but it’s since been addressed.

    Thank you for understanding our position on the matter and for what is covered in the support forums, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article. I want to also mention that if we do find a conflict on our end, we typically address them, but there are many factors beyond my control which determine if/when we do.

    Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

    Cheers!

    Hello and welcome πŸ™‚

    I went ahead and tested to see if the content in the “Add HTML before/after event content” displays when using shortcodes and can confirm it does not. I unfortunately don’t have a workaround for you in the mean time, but I’ve written up a bug report so the developers can take a closer look at the issue.

    I’ve included this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

    Hello and welcome πŸ™‚

    Try adding the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file but and make sure to update the example address with the admin email address you’d like the ticket sent to:

    function tribe_add_admin_email_to_rsvp_email_recipient( $to ) {

    if ( ! is_string( $to ) ) {
    return $to;
    }

    $combined_to = array(
    $to,
    '[email protected]'
    );

    return $combined_to;
    }

    add_filter( 'tribe_rsvp_email_recipient', 'tribe_add_admin_email_to_rsvp_email_recipient' );

    Let me know how it works out!

    Good day from Chandler (Arizona!)

    Currently, there is no built-in feature allowing you to bulk edit PRO Additional Fields data. I’d probably run an SQL query or add a snippet into my theme’s functions.php file file. Take a look at the WP Codex Update Post Meta documentation on how to update post meta. It’s always best to do this type of work on a test site. Always back up prior to running any queries!

    Lastly, it might be a good idea you visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit/upvote this feature request.

    Thank you and best of luck. Cheers!
