ModeratorHi GerSoc 🙂
Welcome back and sorry to see you’re having issues with the Eventbrite Tickets plugin. I notice in your System Information you have a few outdated Modern Tribe plugins. Can you please update to the latest versions, then test as explained in the Testing for conflicts guide and let me know if it has any impact on the behavior you’re currently experiencing?
Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.
Thank you and please keep me updated. Cheers!

ModeratorHello to the both of you 🙂
@Pauline, thank you for assisting here! You nailed it and saved me a step, so thanks again!
@Stanley, can you please try adding the line mentioned in the article Pauline linked to and see if you’re able to upload .csv files? This issue is actually from WordPress itself rather than any of our plugins. Please ensure you also review the Testing for conflicts guide to rule out the potential for a theme and/or plugin conflict.
Thank you and have a wonderful rest of your day. Cheers!

ModeratorHello 🙂
Does reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours as outlined in the Testing for conflicts guide have an impact on the behavior? Please do so and revisit your list of events on the backend to see if you can bulk delete there.
I also found this Tribe Extension you can temporarily install to delete the recurring events. If you can, please give it a shot and let me know how it works out. It’s always best to do this type of work on a test site. At the least, make a backup of your database before doing so just in case.
Have a great day and please keep me updated. Cheers!

ModeratorHello to the both of you 🙂
@Shadi Habbal, thank you for jumping in here and providing possible options. @Weatherly, I unfortunately have not come across any existing examples of users doing this nor implemented the same functionality on any sites I’ve developed, so you’ll need to search our forums in addition to general web searches. Another idea would be to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas to upvote/submit the request there.
Thanks again and have a wonderful rest of your day!

ModeratorHey Joseph,
Thank you for posting to our premium plugin support forums and sorry to see you here under the circumstances. We had a bug report resembling what you’ve shared with me, but it’s recently been patched. Can you please update to the latest versions of our plugins and retest to see if the behavior occurs? Please make sure you have the default WP theme and only our plugins active.
Additionally, imports weren’t so much failing; they were simply being rescheduled and ran once someone visited your site (either front end or back end). The imports are triggered by wp_cron which runs each time your site is visited.
Thanks again and please keep me updated with what you find out. Cheers!

ModeratorCancel that – I was able to successfully import all 2,000+ events! I’ve filtered by Worship and assigned them all to the category “Worship” I’ve created for this test. Once the import runs again, I’ll report back with what I find out! I have it set to run every 30 minutes so I should be able to respond before you even read this.
Thanks again for your patience!

ModeratorThe post marked ‘Private’ in my last response contains the feed provided by Stephanie in this response so other users can follow along with this thread.
@Stephanie, I’ve attempted a few times to import the feed from the calendar URL provided but run into issues. I believe it’s due to the amount of events in the feed. Last attempt was over 2,000 events. Do you possibly have another feed you can test with? I was going to set up a test feed myself but am afraid I’m going to miss something which may result in differing outcomes.
Please let me know if this is manageable and if not I’ll go ahead with a feed I’ve created for this particular issue and let you know the results. Thanks for your continued patience while we work to identify any possible conflicts. Cheers!

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
Sorry to see you’re still experiencing troubles. I’ll need you to confirm with a Yes/No that you have reviewed the Testing for conflicts guide once again after you updated the plugins to the latest versions.
I went ahead and created a short screencast which documents I am not experiencing any issues with the Filter Bar and PRO Additional Fields. If I am somehow missing a step in the procedure to reproduce the behavior, please let me know and I’d be happy to test again.
Today we discovered that not all the events are shown and that the list stop at P
Can you please elaborate on this issue more? Screenshots and/or screencasts are always helpful in these scenarios. I’ll also need you to confirm the behavior occurs when you have the default WP theme and only our plugins active.
Thank you and have a good afternoon 🙂

ModeratorHello and thank you for the in-depth update.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to provide support with conflicts by author authors. I’d start by cloning your live site as-is to your dev site so you can fully troubleshoot the issue. Make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console.
From there, start searching for any errors you may have found during your testing to see if you can find any sort of resolution. I truly apologize I can’t be of more help in this instance. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article for more information.
Best of luck and thanks again for the useful update. Take care 🙂

ModeratorHello again 🙂
Rest assured we’re hard at working trying to cover all potential scenarios. I’ve since checked the status of the logged bug but it’s still “Open” which means there is still work to be done.
Our goal in including the recent additions Dirk mentioned was to alleviate some of the conflicts until everything is ironed out, so hopefully it does just that! Thanks again to the both of you for your in-depth reporting as it’s been extremely helpful to the developers and QA testers.
Have a great week and please stand by for update information relative to this particular issue. Cheers!

ModeratorThank you for the update and I’m glad to see you’ve identified the source of conflict. You’ll essentially need to go over line by line to ensure you’re using the most updated code. I know this isn’t ideal but our goal is to use the most efficient methods possible which often means refactoring code.
As @Andras so helpfully mentioned, visit the Settings > Help page and turn your attention to the Recent Template Changes section for more information.
I’ll close this thread out unless you have any more questions or concerns on the matter, so please let me know and have a wonderful rest of your day. Cheers 🙂

ModeratorHey Ivan 🙂
Thanks for the update. It might actually be best to use CSS to “hide” the category section, then use the following snippet to assign a default category:
/* Tribe, assign a category after a Community Events submission is saved */
function tribe_ce_force_category ( $event_id ) {
wp_set_object_terms( $event_id, 'community', Tribe__Events__Main::TAXONOMY );
}
add_action( 'tribe_community_event_created', 'tribe_ce_force_category' );Let me know how it works out. Cheers!

Moderator@Hans-Gerd, that is very strange indeed! I’ll bring this strange behavior to the support team members who handle theeventscalendar.com. Thanks for letting me know 🙂
@randy, can you possibly send your System Information as a private reply? I also notice in the screenshot there is a notice informing you there might be a conflict because you have a page with the same slug as you’ve entered in the ‘Events URL slug‘ field in Events > Settings > General.

If you revert back to the default WordPress theme and deactivate all plugins other than TEC and PRO, are you able to enter the license key in Events > Settings > Licenses? Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out. This is a required step to continue receiving troubleshooting support.
Thanks to the both of you and have a great rest of your day!
