Is it possible to have the webpage automatically go to the top when you click ‘Next events’ at the bottom of the webpage. So the first upcoming events are shown immediately without having to scroll to the top. Thank you.

    Hello again 🙂

If you visit our demo site and click “Next Events“, you’ll notice the site behaves as you’ve described. If your site is behaving otherwise, please review our Testing for conflicts guide to rule out a potential theme and/or plugin conflict.

Let me know what you learn and have a good afternoon. Cheers!

Thanks again for your fast reply! I have looked at the demo and this is indeed what I mean. I need some time to have a good look at the solution and test & conflict instructions.

Hunter can I test this in a test area? On my computer itself and not in the official online area?

    Hello,

I hope you’re having a great weekend. It’s best to have a testing environment where you can fully troubleshoot issues. Try doing some Google searches on the topic as I’m sure they’re a much better resource in this instance than I could be.

Let me know how things go and have a great rest of the weekend!

Hello Hunter, thank you for answering me so fast. Absolutely, but the thing is that I only have one licence to use Event Calendar Pro and I have connected it to my online area and not to my Localhost. How can I test Event Calendar Pro if I need the licence for the official online area. This is what I was wondering. Thank you.

Hi Hunter, I wanted to give you an update about this. Today we wanted to create this testing environment in the localhost. First we started with updating the plugin for Event Calendar, but then we got an error message. We found out there is a problem with this version of the plugin. So we need to set up this local host environment at a later stage.

    Hello 🙂

I hope you had a pleasant weekend. Can you share the error message you got when trying to update?

We found out there is a problem with this version of the plugin.

Can you also elaborate on the problem in greater detail? I’d be happy to help further investigate, so let me know what you find out when you’re able to set up the local test environment. Cheers!

Hello Hunter. Today I was able to test the local host environment and the live website. In the local host situation the set up worked well, however I do not have all the plugins on this localhost. So I tested on the live environment and deactivated all the plugins besides the Calendar and Calendar Pro plugins. Unfortunately my efforts of deactivating the plugins in the live situation did not work out well. After deactivating all the other plugings the agenda still did not appear well. So it seems their is no problem with other plugins. It seems that the first click on ‘next events’ at the bottom of the page does get the next page to the top (or 90% to the top), but after that when clicking next events at the bottom, the agenda stays at the bottom. I also updated all the versions of WordPress, the Theme and the plugins of the Event Calendar. But also these efforts did not had the effect I hoped for. Really hope you can help me to solve this issue, I believe it is an important matter for my visitors to get the right information on their screen with as less clicks as possible. Thank you in advance.

Hello and thank you for the in-depth update.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to provide support with conflicts by author authors. I’d start by cloning your live site as-is to your dev site so you can fully troubleshoot the issue. Make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console.

From there, start searching for any errors you may have found during your testing to see if you can find any sort of resolution. I truly apologize I can’t be of more help in this instance. Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article for more information.

Best of luck and thanks again for the useful update. Take care 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
