ParticipantI have previously been able to export events to Outlook or Google Calendar.
Currently, Outlook is returning a time zone error TZID “UTC-5” treating as a floating time. Google Calendar is only displaying some events but not all. Since it is happening with both services, I imagine it is a problem with a time zone setting but it does not seem to be a global wordpress setting as it is correctly set to UTC-5. Is there another setting that I may be missing? I download this calendar every week.January 20, 2017 at 5:23 am #1221468erikadonaghy

ModeratorHello 🙂
My sincerest apologies for the delayed response! I assigned this thread to myself but somehow it got lost in the mix. I notice in your System Information you have the Facebook Events and iCal Importer plugins installed on your site. If you’re not aware, we are in the process of retiring both of these plugins and replacing it with our newest plugin, Event Aggregator.
You have been granted a license for Event Aggregator and it is set to expire on the same date your Facebook Events license expires. For information, please review our Moving to Event Aggregator Knowledgebase article and if you run into any issues along the way, please create a separate thread.
I also notice in your System Information you have outdated versions of our plugins installed. It’s recommended you stay updated with the most recent versions to avoid conflict.
In response to your initial issue, can you please send over a link or .ics file of the calendar feed you’re having the timezone issues with? Once I have that, I’ll have a better idea on how to proceed.
Again, I am so sorry for the extremely belated response and I’ll be sure to pay special attention to this thread until we have a resolution. Thank you and have a wonderful afternoon!

ModeratorThanks again for your patience while I further discussed your issue with the support team. We have a bug relative to the Month View iCal export resulting in the same for all months and starts at events furthest in future. A fix is set to be included in the next maintenance release, so please stay tuned to the plugin changelogs and Release Notes for more information.
a) What are the exact errors you’re getting in Outlook? b) What version of Outlook are you using? c) Are you using the web version or traditional desktop app?
Thanks again for your continued patience, things have been a little crazier than normal around here. Have a good day 🙂

ParticipantIm using the 2016 version on desktop. I’ve attached pictures of the errors.
Google Calendar will also not open the exported calendar. It does not give me an error. they just don’t show up.February 17, 2017 at 2:46 pm #1240417Hunter
ModeratorThank you for the update and sending the screenshot over. When the events import into Google Calendar, can you try navigating until you see any events? It might require navigating 12-24 months into the future for any events to appear, but they should be there.
As I mentioned before, there is a known bug logged that occurs when you export the events in Month view. We are also aware of the issue when attempting to import exported .ics files into your Outlook calendar. I’ve added this forum thread to the tickets which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again for your patience and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
