ParticipantHey Kelly,
This is an interesting point! I have not heard much discussion about this, and I am unaware of anything on the development roadmap that would introduce improved handling of this field for admins.
With that in mind, then, I would encourage you to post your idea to our UserVoice page here โ tribe.uservoice.com
โ Customers can vote ideas up or down on this page, so we pay close attention to it and often consider it when making product decisions like the one you suggest here.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantSorry to hear this Jan! And thanks for your patience over the weekend. ๐
I cannot recreate this issue on my own site, so it is probably due to some CSS issues arising from your theme (or possibly another plugin on your site).
With this in mind, to help me help you can you provide the following details?
1. Post your site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
2. Post a URL to a single event on your site where I can see that map/tickets display issue in your screenshot firsthand.
I’ll review your system info and look at the event live, and see what I can recommend from there. ๐

ParticipantHey Kristen,
Thanks for reaching out.
It is unfortunately true that the only way to modify the design of things or their output is to use custom CSS and/or the template-customization methods described in our Themer’s Guide.
We are unfortunately not able to provide any assistance with the process of customizing CSS or templates. Please read more about this fact here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
While we won’t be able to help with customization or design tweaks, I do hope this information helps you move forward with your project. If there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with, please let me know.
Cheers,

ParticipantI’m really sorry to see this, Cody.
While Event Tickets is explicitly designed to work out-of-the-box without The Events Calendar, this is currently a known bug that we’re working on a prompt fix for.
So for now, can you download The Events Calendar, install it on your site, and activate it? You certainly don’t need to use the calendar features by any means; but its mere presence on your site should temporarily fix this issue.
After the next update of Event Tickets you should be able to uninstall The Events Calendar and not have that fatal error any longer.
Please let us know if this helps!

ParticipantHey Michael,
Thanks for reaching out. The features you are trying to implement are technically possible, but not with any out-of-the-box functionality provided by our plugins. And so they would unfortunately require code customizations to implement ๐
To implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code yourself or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here โ http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folksโtheyโre simply some well-respected names in the community that weโve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantHi Martha,
Since you are working with Andras in your other thread here, I will close this thread for now.
We are happy to keep working with you in your other thread with Andrasโpost any relevant information there.
Please also note that the pace of our support conversations are one reply every 24โ48 hours, as elaborated upon here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
Thank you!

ParticipantHm, interesting. Are you aware of the Featured Events feature of Events Calendar Pro? It’s a recent feature but may serve your needs well here โ https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/featured-events
You could make featured events that show up on the events calendar, and these calendar events can themselves have tickets.
You can then use shortcodes like [tribe_events_list featured=true] to show a list of featured events anywhere on your site.
Just an idea! ๐

ParticipantHey Jack,
Thanks for doing all of that testing and reporting your findings hereโand for your patience over the weekend!
It’s indeed true that there’s not much about the Builder theme on these forums. In regards to theme support in general, though, we can only guarantee support for themes that comply with the WordPress Theme Development Standards (https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development#Theme_Development_Standards).
If the Builder theme deviates from those norms and standards, and breaks plugins like The Events Calendar in the process, then unfortunately the best course of action for getting those two pieces of software to work well is to contact the Builder theme team to see if they can shed light on why their theme breaks The Events Calendar’s calendar page.
I would recommend this course of action.
I cannot recreate these issues with any other theme, so it does seem to be the case that the Builder theme is the culprit here.
Please keep us posted on what you find by contacting the Builder theme team, and please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime.

ParticipantHey Preston,
Sure thing. I have just made a feature ticket for your developers and have attached this forum thread to it; and so when there is news about that feature, I will update this thread with that news, even if it is several months now and this thread is “closed” to replies from you or other users.
To set your expectations, if this is something our developers set out to support, it will likely not arrive for at least several months at the earliest.
But the feature request is logged, and so the first step has been taken.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime!
Sincerely,
GeorgeFebruary 13, 2017 at 12:30 pm in reply to: Not importing image, Unknown on last import time #1234017George
ParticipantHey @Jskk123,
Thanks for your patience over the weekend.
In regards to getting older version of Event Aggregator, there is unfortunately no way to do this since Event Aggregator is not a plugin, it’s a service that you access through our plugin The Events Calendar.
So you cannot access older versions of Event Aggregator โ the code that makes up Event Aggregator is mostly on the server, not within The Events Calendar, so you cannot as easily “roll back” versions of Event Aggregator like you can a plugin like The Events Calendar or Events Calendar Pro.
As for the specific Facebook event you shared, we released some improvements to Event Aggregator’s handling of scheduled imports in the recent maintenance release. I notice you’re using version 4.4.1.1 of The Events Calendar โ does anything improve if you update all of your The Events Calendar plugins (The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Community Events) to the latest versions lists here? ? theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
1. โ Once these are all updated, let us know if the scheduled imports seem to be behave any better.
2. Next, can you please share links to the facebook.com versions of events and FB pages that are having these problems with the scheduled imports? I will test to see what I find.

ParticipantHi Pauline,
Thanks for your patience over the weekend.
You have already posted your site’s system information; however, since you’ve updated the software on your site since your first post, can you please post the system information a second time anew here?
To do so, post site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, please contact your web hosting provider’s support team and alert them of this error you are facing. This may be something that is arising because of certain server configurations, and may not have anything to do with our plugins.
Your web hosting provider should be able to disable those limitations of file upload types, if they are in fact the ones imposing them.
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for your patience over the weekend Daniel!
It sounds like you’re adding your Events Calendar Pro license key to the Event Aggregator license key field.
What I would recommend is to do each of the steps listed in the New User Primer here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/
After doing those steps, head to Events โ Settings โ Licenses in your wp-admin; you’ll see an Events Calendar Pro field there and should be able to enter the Events Calendar Pro license there without issue.
