GuestOn the tourism website I am building that features about 70 town posts, I have a main ‘Events’ link from the home page and I also have all the towns posts listed where people can access a post about a town and down the bottom of each post I have the masonry gallery with an events link there (category) that is specific to that town, linked via the Parent Category back to the main Events category and I need an events calendar to appear in each towns post so that it is individual to that town, rather than only coming up on the main events link from my home page, I hope that makes sense, I’m very new to this.

GuestHi George, Thanks for making contact, I would like to know if there is a way that my events link in each of my towns pages can show the events calendar, rather than it only being shown/displayed from the main events link from my home page. Here’s the link to my website, it is not launched yet but I need help so I’ll show you what its about, it’s all very early in its development. The home page has an events link that takes you to the events calendar http://highcountryonline.com.au/home/ but then if you go to a town page/post http://highcountryonline.com.au/victoria-towns-and-alpine-resorts/ and select a town and then scroll right to the bottom you end up at an events link in the masonry gallery, specifically associated with that town/towns. I need the events calendar to show here more than anywhere, so I need it to show in the towns or resorts actual page so I can put events up for events in that area rather than from the main page that will just be a link to information about events across the area and how to find them on the site, I am covering about 100 towns/resorts so you can imagine how overloaded the one events calendar would be if I tried to use only one calendar for the whole area I’m covering on the site, certain dates like holiday periods would have endless events all showing at once but for different areas. The closest thing to what you describe above is the [tribe_events] shortcode that is available in Events Calendar Pro. You can learn more about that shortcode and how it functions here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
