    Good evening Philipp,

Thank you for confirming that we are indeed talking about the same procedure.

Let me know what you find out when you deactivate all other plugins. I know it can be a daunting task, but it’s the fastest way to leave no stone unturned.

To answer your question, we have not received reports of this happening to other clients after the update at the time of writing.

The other things I can think of would be:

    • A caching issue (if you use a caching plugin that I am unaware of)
    • If some of your recurring events are set to private visibility
    • A corrupted update (I would recommend reinstalling the files by overwriting the ones in place)

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Adrian,

Thank you for answering my questions.

I proceeded to run a complete test to try to replicate the issue (based on your settings). Here are my findings:

I do get the following URL in the backend of WordPress (http://playformobile.monsiteoublog.com/evento\-zaragoza/un-testo/), but the actual link AND the front-end URL works perfectly (http://mywebsite.com/evento-zaragoza/un-testo)

In other words, there is still a glitch with the display of the URL in the backend (which we will fix), but the actual URL works.
Can you tell me exactly what happens when you try to view the Event on the front-end ? Could you also try re-saving the event in question (to refresh it’s URL) ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Shaun,

Thank you for sharing all that information.

Based on what I can see, there seems to be some conflict at work.

Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

At the top of my list of possible culprit is the Huge IT image gallery that tries to load their own versions of JS libraries (but I might be wrong).

Also, I would recommend checking the pages that do not work as expected with the Google Chrome inspector. I am getting an error 500 and an error 404 on both pages that do not works correctly.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Chad,

I am sorry that this did not work out for you.

As much as we try to make our plugins compatible with all WordPress themes out there, there are so many that sometimes we fall a bit short 🙁

Best of luck with the theme author and if you find anything interesting on that front, we would be glad to hear about it for every user’s benefit.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Michael,

I’m glad this worked for you. So let’s resume the task of getting the requested info displayed on the ticket.

In fact, let’s break it down:

    • QR code – I just ran a test with your exact settings and the QR code appears correctly on the ticket email received once the transaction is set to “Completed” in WooCommerce. If you are not receiving the ticket email after setting the transaction status, then we can investigate that.
    • Venue, organizer – These are not on part of the ticket information if you are not using the Events Calendar plugin. In other words, there is no way for the ticket to “know” what the venue and organizer are without our other plugins. If you want to add that information to a ticket without our other plugins, then you will have to perform some template customization.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide and pay special attention to the parts about Tickets to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Dario,

Thank you for the system information.

I am afraid I have some not so good news for you.

Although we do support WPML for our Core the Events Calendar plugin and our Pro add-on, this support is currently not available for Events Tickets Plus and Events Tickets. I am fairly  confident that this is what the issue is.

In fact, you can test it out yourself by going through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

The relatively good news is that we are indeed working on gradually integrating all of our products with WPML. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

On that topic, I am noticing that you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to <u>follow the procedure described here</u>.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Shane,

I am glad my answer was helpful to you.
I’ll be happy to answer your other questions as well to the best of my abilities.

I have a drupal site that we are migrating to wordpress. Do you know of anyone good or an organization that does drupal to wordpress migrations?

Unfortunately I do not have such references available, but if I did I would have shared them with you. You might also want to consider using one of the plugins that do that automatically for you to see if that can help you out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cms2cms-automated-drupal-to-wp-migration/

What I do know however, is that there are many businesses that offer that service (based on a quick Google search)

Next question is there someone that can help me import a csv from drupal and set up in the events calendar in wordpress that I can hire?

The only ressources we can recommend are the ones from our recommended customizers. But that would not be very helpful provided what you are trying to do.

However, if you want to import the events using a CSV file, you can. This is a built-in feature that you can check out at Events -> Import .

Also, we have a huge business directory. Do you recommend using your plugin for this? Or do you have any other suggestions for a great business directory in wordpress?

I would recommend one of the following: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/best-directory-plugins-for-wordpress/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Best of luck with your projects and let me know if you any other questions relating to the original issue.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Anders,

I’m glad to see you had read these prior to contacting us. I am sorry these were not more useful to you.

But before we continue, just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately cannot provide complete support for customization 🙁

With that in mind, since the precise filters you are looking for are not built-in, this means you will need to either:

    1. Do some customization to achieve what you are looking for (hence the link to the post)
    2. Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you
    3. Suggest this feature over our User Voice forum.

    As per your second question:

Or is there a way of having the product installed on multiple sites that are all fed from a central source ?

Absolutely, you can accomplish this by having multiple installs and using a Central source such as a Google Calendar.

In order to do that, you will however require a license for our iCal importer add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/ical-importer/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Guadalupe,

Thank you for the kind words although I am one of the lucky ones who actually did not go to Costa Rica 🙂

I am sorry about the miscommunication. You actually need to read the whole article, down to http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/107622/i-need-to-assign-a-role-to-visitors-guests#214893

As you’ll see, there are ac a couple of ways to accomplish what you are looking to do.
Some free plugins also might help you do what you are looking for including: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/ which lets you display a different menu for different user roles including visitors.

As you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately cannot provide complete support for customization 🙁

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Valerie and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about that extra slash being added to your URLs.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are 100% right, I was able to reproduce this glitch. All of our apologies for that.

So I went ahead and opened up a bug ticket for it. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.

But stay tuned we will let you know as soon as a patch is available!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and have a great weekend!

Good evening Charlie and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The short answer is that currently, this feature is not available (but you might achieve it through some template customization).

The good news however is that work on this feature has started as explained here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3738379-collect-all-attendee-information-for-multiple-tick

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

Good evening Philipp and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the error 404 you have been experiencing.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I guess what you mean is that you tried all the suggestions found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/

If that’s not the case, that would be the first thing I would do.

Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Good evening Craig and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the headaches caused by the interaction with the Canvas theme.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I found a related topic that could be quite useful (but long to read): https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/canvas-issues/

To make a long story short I believe you could try the proposed solution found here to see if that helps: http://www.centralcoastadventuresports.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/theme.jpg

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Heather and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the word Array creeping up where it shouldn’t. It certainly was not our intention.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I went ahead and tried to reproduce the bug described and you are 100% right, whenever there is no venue defined for an event, the word array appears instead.  All our apologies for that.

This is a legitimate bug and I have opened a ticket for it. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

In the meantime, the best workaround would be to either hide the venue field using CSS

    .events-list .tribe-events-venue-details {display:none !important;}

Or hide the field on a per event basis (still using CSS)

    .events-list #post-663 .tribe-events-venue-details, events-list #post-326 .tribe-events-venue-details {display:none !important;}

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
