Event Link adding additional slashes

Hey how you doing,

I have noticed that something a little strange has been happening with my event links and was hoping that there is a fix you could tell me about.

In the ‘General Settings’ Tab I have set the ‘Single event URL slug’ to ‘whats-on’. But when I do this it adds an additional slash to the event page permalink: http://aggaroo.com/whats\-on/harlem-globetrotters-0425/. However the slash is only present on the ‘edit event page’, when viewing the page on the front end the slash is not there.

Any ideas on how to tidy this up would be good, although its not a major concern as everything seems to be ok even though the extra slash is there on the edit event page permalink.

You are 100% right, I was able to reproduce this glitch. All of our apologies for that.

So I went ahead and opened up a bug ticket for it. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.

But stay tuned we will let you know as soon as a patch is available!

Thank you for reporting this issue. We weren’t able to get a fix for it into our upcoming release (4.1). However, please know that the problem is still on our radar and is ticketed within our system to be addressed in a future maintenance release.
