    Hey Vivianne,

Awesome! I’m glad that worked for you.

Adding the filterbar is a bit trickier and unfortunately out of scope for our support.

I would advise pursuing one of the following:

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Greetings back from Canada 🙂

    Hey Jitske,

I’m glad you have successfully solved 2 out of 3 issues. Congratulations on that.

Let’s try to work on number 3 together. Would you mind sharing with me a copy of the Dutch po/mo files you are using for Tickets Plus (via Dropbox or Google Drive) ?

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Peter,

Would it possible for you to send me the URL where the category field is not working ?

Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out?

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is (theme or plugin).

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    That’s awesome Dave,

By the way the issue you are dealing with is common with themes that call the_title() outside of the loop. Typically the problem you’re experiencing is caused by this. Doing that is a violation of WP standards 🙁

I just stumbled upon the following KB article that I believe could help your conversation with them and that should prove helpful towards resolution: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/

    Please keep me posted,

    Geoff B.

    Hello again Scott,

Thank you for answering my question and attempting to try a different setting .

When I look at your event page, I can see that there is an archive body class being used.
So I guess that the next step would be to establish which of your theme’s file is being called on if there is no archive.php file.

Perhaps index.php ? In any case, if you haven’t already, you might want to contact the theme author to ask which file controls WordPress archive calls.

The reason for that is because short of changing WordPress themes, until we can figure out where the page title is being called for archive type pages, it’s going to be difficult to fix.

By the looks of it, it seems that your theme is calling the_title() outside of the loop. Typically the problem you’re experiencing is caused by this. Doing that is a violation of WP standards 🙁

Once that’s established, we will probably have to try to apply a solution from the following post: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Scott,

Thank you for providing me with the information and screenshots.

One thing I would recommend trying is to change the WP timezone setting to something like “Detroit” instead of UTC-5.
You might want to try that in combination with the previously suggested “Use local timezone…” Events Calendar timezone setting.

Also, for my benefit (and to help you), could you specify which is the faulty recurring event ? The reason I am asking is because I cannot establish which one behaves inaccurately by looking at your monthly views.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

I really don’t want the the terms WooTickets visible to the users. It really creates confusion.
[1] Do I need this statement here at all? [2] I am running Events Calendar PRO so shouldn’t it default directly to function mentioned? Users on my site are not going to know whether they are PRO users. It’s so confusing.

I don’t know if you are aware of this, but we did retire the WooTickets add-on to replace it by the Events Tickets Plus. In fact, we even have a nice Knowledge Base article to ease the transition: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/

The reason I am bringing this up is because the messages in question is not visible on my end (I use the latest version of the plugins). I can also confirm that you automatically have received a license for Events Tickets Plus.

[3] What does it mean to configure your event accordingly. I would prefer not to have this completely removed if possible.

The purpose of that message is to ensure that people understand that there is not 1 ticket per event in a recurring event series. For now (we are working on adding separate tickets for recurring events), tickets for a recurring event are for the whole series, not for each event individually.

You could probably hide the message through CSS (provided you can share with me the link to the website)

[2] If I can’t remove the message, how can I at least change the text?

Yes, you can change just about any string of text.
    Here’s how: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Randy and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about your site being extremely slow.
I would love to help you with this topic.

First off, I would like to confirm that I understand correctly. When you say that you changed domain name, do you mean that:

    • You changed the URL in the WordPress Settings -> General page ?
    • You have copied your site’s files and DB over to a new webhost or to the same one because you decided to change the URL associated to your website ?

In other words, I would need to do <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>exactly</span> what you did.

    Best regards,

Other than that I am noticing that there is a Javascript error on that page (using Google Chrome’s inspector): Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘fn’ of undefined

There is a strong chance that this error is preventing the photo view from working properly.

    Hello again Robbie,

This is a duplicate thread from the one I previously answered (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/new-layout-attendees/).

As such I will close this one and pursue the conversation in the previous one.

I am pretty sure this is simply a matter of updating your language files to the latest version for events tickets plus.

The ones found directly in the plugins folder are not always up to date (unfortunately). But you can:

    1. Update them manually if you are familiar with Poedit
    2. Download the most recent version here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Cindy and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been experiencing with the tickets not being sent to the clients.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I recently helped a customer with a very similar issue. The conclusion is that somehow the plugin that would change the order status automatically did not “perform” the exact same steps as when you manually set the order status to “complete”.

If you do not mind, this would be the first test I would suggest you to run. Temporarily deactivate the WooCommerce Order Status Control and try setting the transaction status to “Completed” manually to see if the ticket email gets sent.

Also, one of our other customers had some success with a snippet added to the WordPress theme’s functions.php: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/auto-send-tickets-and-auto-send/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
