MemberHey Scott,
Victory! I’m so glad that worked out for you. Kudos!
To be honest, I am not sure what the cause is (between the 2).
What I do know is that it seems to vary for each user (but we are keeping a close eye on this specific intermittent issue). In any case, I will close this thread for now, but please know you are always welcome back on our forums.
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Shaun,
Thank you for the precision. Hopefully by continuing the exchange we will be able to figure out what is going on.
What I am trying to do is to establish if the Events Calendar Pro on its own in a normal post or page with a default theme and all third party plugins deactivated works as expected. Once we can confirm that, it will be easier to solve other interactions.
Maybe this is unrelated, but on every single link you have sent me, when I open up Google Chrome’s inspector, I am getting an error 500 or an error 404.
Would you mind sharing with me the following screenshots:
- The short code used in every page you shared
- The details of your settings at Events -> Settings
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Robbie,
I am glad the advice proved to be helpful. Congratulations on fixing this.
To hide the stock remaining, you could just add a simple CSS rule to your WordPress theme:
.tribe-tickets-remaining {display:none}
Let me know if that helps.Have a great day!

MemberHey its me again,
I just went ahead and retested and somehow the issue is completely gone.
If you don’t mind, could you re-save your Community settings and give it another shot ?
Thank you.

MemberHey again,
I just realized that the bug ticket in question IS already closed and shipped.
So I went ahead and opened a new one specifically for the Community submission form not displaying Default Content as expected.
Sorry for the confusion I might have created. Unfortunately that means I don’t have a date for the bugfix, but it should make it in our upcoming maintenance releases.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberDear Karly,
Thank you for taking the time to clarify things. My bad to have missed that.
After you did, I went ahead and did my due diligence with only the Community submit form in mind. You are, yet again, 100% right.
The good news is that there was already a related bug ticket open for all default content fields.
It also looks like the bugfix will make it in our next maintenance release. Let’s knock on wood.Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Karly,
Thank you for the system information and for answering my question.
I am looking at the staging page and it does look like the sidebar is displayed properly.
Could it be that you found a workaround with the latest version of our plugins ?
Please let me know if you have a chance.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Rubén and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
At this point the incompatibility between Event Tickets Plus and WPML is not because of the translations not being there.
It is caused by the interaction between the 2 plugins. As a temporary solution, my best advice would be to use the Events Calendar or the Events Calendar Pro alongside WPML + WooCommerce + WooCommerce Multilingual.
I would create “tickets” basic products (just a normal WooCommerce product) and would provide a link to the WooCommerce product in the Event description.
It is certainly not as flexible and well integrated as our ETP solution, but it can work in the meantime.
On a side note, complete WPML integration for all of our add-ons is on our roadmap.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!Best regards,

MemberHello again Steffen,
Just a quick follow up to let you know that I did talk to the team in charge of that project today.
They will craft a snippet to accomplish what you are looking for, so stay tuned!

MemberGood afternoon Devra,
That’s awesome. I’m glad it was likely just a caching issue!
You are always welcome back if there is anything else.
Have a great day!

MemberHi again Vivianne,
I’m sorry you could not get the do_shortcode approach to work for you, it would have been the perfect solution.
As you know, I’m pretty much limited to getting you started on the right path for customizations. 🙂
So if you are going to pursue the latest snippet you shared with me, I would advise taking a look at how category filtering is handled in the following files from the Events Calendar Pro add-on:
- /events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Shortcodes/Events_List.php
- /events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Advanced_List_Widget.php
- /events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Shortcodes/Filtered_Shortcode.php
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Kevin,
Thank you for sharing your system information.
It’s really odd that you should have a WooTickets message without WooTickets installed.
As a side note, I am noticing you are using Event Rocket which is unfortunately completely unsupported since version 4.0 of our plugins. I guess that means it would be worth deactivating to see if that makes any difference.
The other thing I can think of is that your WordPress theme might have a template customization through either it’s functions.php file or a tribe-events folder.
I would recommend to please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know if that prevents the unwanted messages from being displayed ?
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
