MemberGood evening Joe and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Because it’s in the order the tickets were purchased in, it takes a long time to find people on the list by name. Is there any way to sort the the list, preferably by surname, but at the least by full name alphabetically?
What I would recommend is to first export the attendee list (using the Export button).
This will generate a csv file which you should be able to open using MS Excel, Google Docs or Libre Office.
That should allow you to sort the list in the way you are looking for.Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Jitske and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with these topics.1. in ticket email:
Check in for this event, Scan this QR code at the event to check in.That is a very good point. I am not seeing a translatable string for this sentence found in /event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/QR.php line 106
I will open a ticket to make it a translatable string.
In the meantime, it looks like you might have to hardcode the translation2. on the event page:
‘add’ for add to cartI have helped one other customer solve the exact same issue. If my memory serves me right, the issue was that the po/mo files used where not updated (sometimes that happens with the files that come with the plugin). Your best bet would be to download the latest version of the language files here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
3. in conrfirmation e-mail:
You’ll receive your tickets in another emailOnce again, this string should be in the tickets plus language file. I would recommend updating the file.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been dealing with between recurring events and Yoast.
I would love to try to help you with this topic. To be transparent with you, there is currently an exercise being performed to provide solutions to some of the concerns and issues between our plugins and Yoast as reported by our wonderful customers.
I would like to submit this very question to the people in charge of that investigation and see what they say.
What I can tell you however is that it is possible to override some of Yoast’s behaviours by adding a code snippet in your functions.php such as in the following example:
https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/f4937c82325ab152cb24
Let me get back to you on this one.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Juha and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to try to help you with this topic.I have been reading the forums and found out that rsvp is not supported for recurring events.
Actually RSVP works with recurring events.
But it only works as a global RSVP (for the whole series, not for individual events – which is probably what you need).Yes, the plan is to incorporate complete ticket support for recurring events in version 4.2.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point (since there is a lot that can change). What I can tell you however is that we are working as fast as we can.
The word on the street is that release of version 4.1 is really close, but you didn’t hear it from me 😉In an ideal world, a new version is released every quarter, so that means roughly 3 months after the next version. But just to set expectations, this is at best a guesstimate for now. The actual release date could be sooner or later than that.
As for the option to cancel RSVP, not to my knowledge, but I would recommend you suggest it here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to try help you with this topic.Yes, you can absolutely achieve what you are looking for by combining the Events tickets plugin alongside the recurring event feature of PRO.
I recommend reading a bit about recurring events first to get a sense of how that works: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
Once you are setup, the RSVP (and its properties such as stock) will be global for the whole recurring events series.

MemberGood evening Craig and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry for the slight delay in response time caused by our team’s yearly product retreat.
I would love to try to help you with this topic.1. Am I right in assuming the Recurring ticket solution (once finished) will do the following:
— A: A recurring event, each one with predefined tickets sales i.e. Class 1 has 4 tickets, class 2 has 4 tickets.
— B: Once tickets for an event sell out the single instance of the event shows as sold out.
— C: The solution will mean I do not need to create tickets for every instance of a recurring event.Yes you are right about point a, b and c.
2. I also want to know if the recurring ticket solution will work with ecommerce platforms besides WOoComerce?
Yes, the recurring ticket solution will work with the same e-commerce platforms as the ones supported by our Events Tickets Plus premium add-on (WooCommerce, Shopp, WP eCommerce, & Easy Digital Downloads are all currently supported).
3. If all my website is doing is selling recurring tickets for classes; which ecommerce plugin do you recommend? I’ve a number of WooCommerce sites but the plugin feels far to heavy for a site selling a few classes.
That is largely a personal preference. My best suggestion would be to try them all (at least on a local install). A lot of people like Shopp or EDD as a “simpler” alternative.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Robbie,
Thank you for sharing all the information with me.
I understand the risks and I would highly recommend setting up a testing/staging environment (even a local install could work).
I the meantime, based on the information you have shared, I understand that the attendees reports you are using are based on WooCommerce Tickets orders.
You might not know this, but WooCommerce Tickets is now deprecated and it has been replaced by the Events Tickets Plus premium add-on that works for all e-commerce platforms (including WooCommerce).
We even have a tutorial to make the transition to the new plugin as painless as possible: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
So in short, to solve the issue and have everything work properly with the latest version of our plugins and of WooCommerce, it looks like you are going to need to purchase a license for Events Tickets Plus
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

MemberHi again Timree,
My bad I should have specified where to put it.
You should add this code to your WordPress theme’s CSS file or Custom CSS input box (if you have one).
Let me know if you need help with that part.

MemberGood evening Philipp,
I am very sorry this did not change anything for you.
But, do not despair, we still have a couple of things to try to find out what the issue is.
Here are the next things I would suggest:
- Can you check the .htaccess file of your website to see if there aren’t any hardcoded redirection rules in there ? Or better yet if you could share the details of it (in a private reply)
- Could you share a screenshot of your Events -> Settings page (in a private reply)?
Hang in there!

I am so happy to hear this fixes the issue for you.
You are always welcome back on our forums should you have any other questions.
For now, I’m going to close this thread.

MemberGood evening Charrame,
Thank you for sharing that link with me. I agree with you, the URL of the images is not correct.
But once again, the URL of the title is working correctly.Unfortunately, that page still uses a customized template that is not one of the Events Calendar built-in views.
I have tested your exact configuration and url structure on a default WordPress theme and the images URLs are working properly on the Events Calendar built-in views.
My best recommendations would be to:
- Contact the theme author to update the customization code
- Hire one of our recommended customizers to fix the customization for you
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Anthony,
Thank you so much for your understanding.
Yes, I forgot to mention that you will indeed automatically be contacted as soon as the fix is available 🙂

MemberGood evening Laura,
I’ll be glad to answer your 2 quick questions.
1) I had a code snippet to remove “Upcoming Events” from the main events page. I’ve switched now to the vertical filter bar and now “Upcoming Events” is back and I can’t seem to remove it. I was using the code:
.tribe-events-notices {
display: none;
}I recommend replacing .tribe-events-notices by .tribe-events-filter-view .tribe-events-list h2.tribe-events-page-title
2) Instead of leading users to a category’s individual page, I’m leading them to a list of upcoming events for that category because we don’t want them to see the filter bar. Is there a way with the shortcode to only show the event’s title (no date, no time, no calendar icon) and an excerpt?
There is unfortunately no built-in way to do this. If I had to do it myself, I would use our Themer’s guide to modify the layout of the upcoming events (list view) to your liking.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHello again Vivianne,
Perfect.
What I mean is using the built-in do_shortcode feature of WordPress as described here: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/
Simply put, you can call shortcodes in a template and feed some of it’s variable using custom fields.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Vivianne,
Sorry about the misunderstanding.
As it turns out, part of my answer is still valuable. Event Rocket had some similar features available.
