RSVP for recurring events and the possibility to cancel rsvp

I have been reading the forums and found out that rsvp is not supported for recurring events. This feature is crucial for my sites to function as needed so I am desperate to find a solution for this. After all the development hours already spent with TEC, another plugin is no longer an option.

I read this feature will ship with version 4.2, can you give an estimate of that date? And will it also have the option to cancel rsvp?

Actually RSVP works with recurring events.
But it only works as a global RSVP (for the whole series, not for individual events – which is probably what you need).

Yes, the plan is to incorporate complete ticket support for recurring events in version 4.2.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point (since there is a lot that can change).

What I can tell you however is that we are working as fast as we can.
The word on the street is that release of version 4.1 is really close, but you didn’t hear it from me 😉

In an ideal world, a new version is released every quarter, so that means roughly 3 months after the next version. But just to set expectations, this is at best a guesstimate for now. The actual release date could be sooner or later than that.

As for the option to cancel RSVP, not to my knowledge, but I would recommend you suggest it here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
