MemberGood evening Joseph and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error codes you are getting while trying to import your .ics file.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
Secondly, I will take you up on your offer. If you could send a link to the .ics file in question, that would be super helpful.

MemberGood evening Pete and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you have been getting.
I would love to help you with this topic.First off, I was able to reproduce the issue on my end. I believe this is due to the fact that the URL you provided works great for generating a .ics file that’s ready for download, but does not follow standard iCal URL conventions that usually end with something like feed=calendar
Interestingly enough, I tried importing the .ics file generated from your link and that does work as intended (I would watch out for some the events end dates though (some of them show November 30, -0001 as a value).
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Ian,
Sorry for the delay. I will be stepping in for Josh who is currently out of the office.
The good news is that I was able to import both ics files successfully, which means that we can also make it work for you. We just need to figure out why it is not currently.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)

MemberHey @Sean,
I’m just stepping in on behalf of Josh who is currently out of the office to thank you for your input and for bringing this to our attention.
We have been made aware of that issue and have replaced the official snippet on the site to comment the conflictual lines of code (which is just an alternative to deleting them).
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Ken,
I am chiming in on behalf of Josh who is out of the office currently. All apologies for the delay.
With that in mind and with a fresh new look, I went ahead and tested the Calendar view and the months links in both Safari and Chrome. The good news is that both worked fine and I was able to switch months easily.
Could you re-test on your end to see if you are still getting this issue while being logged out ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberThank you for sharing your information Malcolm.
So I went ahead on a basic WordPress installation with your WooCommerce currency settings and I was able to sell tickets for .2 without any issue while creating tickets in the backend.
Just out of curiosity are you trying to create these tickets in the backend as well or are you doing so using the Community Tickets front-end version of things ?
Other than that, it looks like there might be either a plugin or a theme conflict at play here.
The fastest way to find out is to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
I realize this might be time consuming provided the large number of plugins involved, but that is still the fastest way.

MemberGood evening again Jimmy,
Thank you for your continuing efforts.
Perhaps I created some confusion with my previous reply. If that is the case, I apologize.Reinstalling our software will not solve the issue in your situation unfortunately.
What is going on is that there is a conflict with between our software and one of the following things:- Your WordPress theme
- The code that is found in your theme /tribe-events folder or in the functions.php of that theme
- One of your other plugins
- One of the date formats used either by WordPress, our plugin or WPML
Unfortunately, the only way to be sure which of these is the cause (which will allow us to find the solution) is to test.
Since this is not possible on your live website, the best option would be to create a local “copy” of your site on your computer (installing the same plugins and theme). That way you can test without breaking your website.
Here are a couple of links on how to do that:
- On Mac: https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_Locally_on_Your_Mac_With_MAMP
- On PC: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/
With that in mind, I have a question for you. Is it possible that the reason you are saying that the events are not displaying in the right order is because of the display of the following events :
- Jersey Boys på Gothia Towers
- Bryan Ferry på The Theatre
- Lobby Fridays: mathiasmelo
- After Run-fest med Barbados & Tredrag
If that’s the case, I believe I might have a solution for you
Let me know.
Have a great day!

Thank you for sharing the file.
However, it looks like I’m having a hard time accessing it. Would you mind trying that again using something like Dropbox or Google Drive ?

MemberGood evening Stu,
First off, let me apologize.
I did not mean to create additional frustration in the context of an already frustrating situation. For the record, I did read the previous thread prior to answering you. We just make it a habit to go through that step first systematically, especially when there has been plugins and WordPress updates between interventions.
In the end, I assure you that we do share the common goal of fixing your issue as fast as possible.
Leaving no stone unturned is, in my experience, the fastest way to get to a resolution. With that in mind, I just performed another series of tests on your website and I am noticing that the search query string (URL) and in fact pretty much every calendar-related URL seems to be impacted in negative way by the systematic addition of the following parameter that is literally hiding entries and preventing them from being displayed properly (including through search)
&tribe_cost=0-27.75&tribe_cost=0-27.75
I am unsure as to why this parameter gets added in there, but it seems to match the values found in the filter bar.
As the next step, would you mind either deactivating the filter bar completely or at least removing the cost filter to see if that has any impact ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberBonsoir Guillaume,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Ann,
Thank you for trying my solution out. I’m sorry to hear that this did not work out for you.
It is a shame that you are also experiencing performance issues with the calendar.I understand how these might seem interrelated, but I sincerely believe they are not.
The good news is whoever is that my colleague George is one of our best support techs so I am sure he’ll help you figure things out.Back to the problem at hand, just to qualify my previous intervention, I had this issue on only one of my many basic installs.
And to @Barbara Ann ‘s point, we do take this issue seriously, but from what I can see (including my personal experience from many installs) it is only very a handful of unlucky users that have experienced it, which makes it hard to pinpoint.
The good news is that I managed to fix it so there is hope! We totally appreciate your patience and efforts while we find a solution that works for you.
With that in mind, there is something else I would like you to try. Full disclosure, at the very early release of the latest version of the Pro and Filter Bar add-ons, there was an issue with the plugin folders being given very funky names (theeventscalendar.compu_request_plugin..).
Although the plugins still worked, this is when I was getting the exact same message as @Barbara Ann (tribe-events-bar.min.js?ver=4.1.0.1:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of null).
Here is the complete breakdown of what I did:
- Deactivated both add-ons temporarily via the Plugins menu
- Using FTP, I fixed the funky plugin folder names to the-events-calendar-filterbar and events-calendar-pro respectively
- Downloaded the latest version of both plugins and manually replaced/overwrote the files of plugins via FTP
- Reactivated the plugins (you might have to play with the reactivation sequence)
- Re-saved my permalinks
I know this can seem like a daunting task and I can assure you this is the only time I have ever had to do something like this on any of my installs.
Hopefully that can work for you as well
Let me know if it does or if you need help with the steps above.Best regards,
Geoff B.
March 29, 2016 at 5:14 pm in reply to: Blank "Your Tickets" Email Sent to Non-event-related WooCommerce Customers #1095682Geoff B.
MemberGood evening W David,
Thank you for the system information and for the clarification.
If you don’t mind, could you send a link to a screenshot of the email in question ? (in a private reply)
Without seeing the said email, my theory is that there is a chance that all WooCommerce products emails are titled “Your tickets from Human Scale Business” or that the ticket email is sent because the payment has been completed.
To clarify what I mean by that is that tickets emails are sent only when the payments on a ticket purchase are completed. This is facilitated by your WooCommerce Order Status Control plugin.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
