ParticipantPlease note – whilst it might say php7 is active (it is) – I have tried it with all different versions of PHP with the same outcome.
If you require logins to the backend please let me know.

ParticipantThe best way to illustrate this at the moment is there is an event –
http://www.3btickets.com/event/reminisce-festival-2016-tickets/
If you try to search for “Reminisce” or anything about this event, nothing appears. This happens with many other events as well, but the search works for some events.
Really causing me a major problem at the moment.
Thanks

ParticipantJust as an aside – i have ust created a new event to check it wasnt events created with older version plugins:
http://www.3btickets.com/event/reminisce-festival-test/
this is also not searchable from keyword “reminisce” which is both in the event nae organiser, URL slug, and title of event (and many times in the body text of the event. This happens with both themes and plugins active and de-activated.
please can you advise?

MemberGood evening Stuart and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us, for the details and for the system information.
We are sorry about our over zealous bot 🙁
I would love to help you with this topic. As my colleague Hunter hinted at in the previous thread, by the looks of it there’s a high chance that this is caused by a plugin or theme conflict.
As such, the fastest way to find out is to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
That being said, I would say that Event Rocket is the most likely culprit. Unfortunately, it is no longer compatible with our plugins or supported since version 4.0. So as a first step I would try deactivating it and see what happens.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantOk Geoff
WHilst i am very happy that someone is back helping me with the site, im a little disappointed you didn’t read the last ticket. As I mention in my first post:
“Just so you know – Im getting no conflicts with anything else here…have disabled plugins and theme etc, and nothing in the console log. Hay to provide logins etc to backend if needed. im a pro user of the plugin have been for many years and never seen this before – but its a new site.”
I have disabled everything, including the plugin you suggest, and also I have changed theme back to 2014, as you suggest, already.
As the guy who answered me in the last thread who read the post noted:
“Taking into account that you’ve reverted back to the default WP theme and deactivated all plugins as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide, would you please share your System Information as a private reply?”
Which is why I posted the system info in this thread.
So, can we now proceed as required?
Thanks
Stu

MemberGood evening Stu,
First off, let me apologize.
I did not mean to create additional frustration in the context of an already frustrating situation. For the record, I did read the previous thread prior to answering you. We just make it a habit to go through that step first systematically, especially when there has been plugins and WordPress updates between interventions.
In the end, I assure you that we do share the common goal of fixing your issue as fast as possible.
Leaving no stone unturned is, in my experience, the fastest way to get to a resolution. With that in mind, I just performed another series of tests on your website and I am noticing that the search query string (URL) and in fact pretty much every calendar-related URL seems to be impacted in negative way by the systematic addition of the following parameter that is literally hiding entries and preventing them from being displayed properly (including through search)
&tribe_cost=0-27.75&tribe_cost=0-27.75
I am unsure as to why this parameter gets added in there, but it seems to match the values found in the filter bar.
As the next step, would you mind either deactivating the filter bar completely or at least removing the cost filter to see if that has any impact ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHey Geoff
thanks – yes, de-activating the filter bar does solve the problem. I didnt de-activate that as its part if your plugin suite – so…what to do about it do you think? I guess I wont actually be using cost so i could disable that part of the filter bar maybe?
In fact – ive done that now, and it still works – so, ill settle with that solution. Obviously you might want to investigate that on a build of your own to check if that could be broken for anyone else who does use price.
Thanks for the assistance 🙂

MemberHey Stu,
I’m really glad that this worked out for you.
I will totally take you up on your suggestion and investigate this further on a build of mine and get back to you with my findings.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Stu,
As promised, I ran a bunch of tests and had some teammates take a look at this issue.
We were unable to reproduce the issue on any of our installs, but here are a couple of things worth checking out on your end:
- Is there any event on your calendar that has a cost value of “0-27.75” in the cost field (not as separate tickets, but rather as the cost in 1 field for that event) ?
- Would you mind performing a scan of your WordPress theme folder with the following grep string: “tribe_cost” and let me know if anything turns up ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
