MemberGood evening Donna and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the events showing up on your search results if this is not what you intended.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are a couple of ways to go about this:
- Use a code snippet such as the one suggested here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/want-to-remove-events-on-calendar-from-search-results/#post-33175
- Use a search customization plugin such as the ones listed here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/12-wordpress-search-plugins-to-improve-your-site-search/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Nichole and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the calendar not displaying.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are a couple of things you could try.
But first, go to Events -> Settings -> Display and try changing the setting for Events Template
Could you also please tell me what your event page URL is ?
Finally, if you temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen, does the issue disappear ?
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Christian and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. This are great questions. Technically, when Community Events is installed on a website, it does not generate a separate calendar.
What it does is that it lets more people add and manage events (organizers). Of course, you totally control how that is done (including the ability to be able to approve events before they are published).
But in the end, all events will go to the same “global” calendar.
This leaves you with a couple of options:
- Install a separate calendar in a sub-domain of your site (with a link to it from your main website)
- Try to hide certain events based on the website visitor’s roles and permission (probably via a plugin such as Members). You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=roles+and+permissions&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=documentation&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase
Let me know if that answers your questions

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You should be able to find that translation for the Category string in the french .po/.mo files for the core the Events Calendar plugin.
As a side note, sometimes the language files packaged with the plugin are not 100% up to date.
This means that you could either:- Update your language files from the POT file or from the sources
- Grab the latest copy of the language file here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
Finally, I am noticing that there is quite a bit of customization on your single event view. So it is possible that you need to take a look at the /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

p.s.: we can totally continue this conversation in French if you prefer.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer to your question is that you should not have to modify any piece of code to get the dates to display properly in French while using WPML with our products.
I know that for a fact since I am a big WPML user myself. My first question would be, did you follow the knowledge base articles found here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=wpml&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=documentation&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

I would love to answer your questions about Community tickets.Could see / try some demo?
The closest thing we have to a demo is the video found on the following page: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/
That being said, please remember that we have a 30 day money-back guarantee which should give you plenty of time to try it 🙂
Do customers could pay with any payment systems established in my web? Or is mandatory to use paypal?
Yes, customers can use any payment system that works with your e-commerce solution ( WooCommerce, EDD, etc..).
However, if you are looking to use split payments (where part of the tickets sales automatically goes to you and part of the tickets goes to the organizer), then your only option for now is to use PayPal (which requires some configuration to provide that feature).
How to access the organizer to access create entries?
Each organizer will get login credentials (but will stay in the front-end of the site). You can get a sense of what that looks like by clicking on “Add your event” on the following page: http://wpshindig.com/events/
As long as you provide a basic (subscriber) WordPress user for your organizers, they will be able to create and edit their events.
I will answer your final question in a separate reply in a few seconds.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Robert and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your latest system information.
To answer for your question, for the most of our users, this issue is gone.
From our last exchange ( https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/when-i-click-update-on-any-event-my-ticket-stock-goes-to-0-on-that-event/ ) I had asked you to perform certain tests to try to iron this out.Unfortunately, the process stopped there.
Furthermore I am noticing you are still using version 4.1.1 of the Events Calendar plugin and version 4.1.2 of the Event Tickets plugin.Would you mind:
- Updating to the latest version of the Events Calendar and Event Tickets and see if that helps ?
- As requested before, going through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHello all,
@Dan, thank you for chiming in that conversation.
As you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
But the good news is that it looks like Barry was able to go above and beyond that requirement and that @Dan ran away with it and shared a snippet for everybody’s benefit! Awesome.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Toni,
Thank you for unblocking Canada and for providing additional info such as the screenshot.
The string you are interested in translating can be found here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar-pro/de/default?page=9
As you can tell by looking at the details of that string, “veranstaltungen” is actually generated in that string by using the %s variable.
This leaves you with a couple of options:
- Hardcode “Veranstaltungen” in place of the %s variable for that string – which is the simplest solution
- Use a snippet such as this one to systematically replace “veranstaltungen” by “Veranstaltungen” whenever possible: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Bartek,
Thank you for sharing all that extra information and for running some additional tests.
Based on what I am seeing, this might be a date format related issue.
Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what your WordPress date settings are as well as a screenshot of the edit event screen of one of the May events ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberBonjour Benjamin,

MemberGood morning Hannu,
Thank you for the video and my sincere apologies – I did not see the faulty event before, because I was under the impression that it would be located at the top of the event list somehow.
With that in mind, I would like to isolate the issue to help you better.
Could you please:
- Share with me your exact WordPress date formats
- Share with me your timezone settings under Events -> Settings -> General
- Let me know if the problem persists if you temporarily switch your WordPress theme to a default one such as twenty-fifteen ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
