Want to remove events on calendar from search results

When I use the search bar, the events from the calendar show up as results and it skews the look of the results for my theme. I would like to remove the events on the calendar from the search results. How do I accomplish this?

Thanks for reaching out! You should be able to add the following code to your theme’s functions.php file and it will only show search results for posts & pages: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/5013681
