    Good evening Patrick,

Are you saying now that I shouldn’t have a conflict with using VC and Events Pro?

In my experience the type of issue you were experiencing can be caused by using an older version of a plugin combined with the newer version of another.

This is especially true with major upgrades such as WP 4.5.x where the way to do certain things changed significantly.

I cannot guarantee that this fixes everything, but most of the time it helps.

Also, where do I get notices about updates on your plugins?

In order to get the update notices, I recommend entering your license number in Events -> Settings -> Licenses

Finally, I will run that last error message by our DEV team and see what their advice on it is tomorrow.

    Best regards,

    Bonsoir Benjamin,

Good evening Felix and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Ideally, to do that I would need a URL where your list widget is displayed.
That way, I could provide you with actual code.

With that in mind, you could accomplish that by making sure that each event div in that widget is displayed as an inline-block, floating left while taking half of the width of the container it’s in.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the extra line breaks popping in.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Could you tell me if the problem persists with a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen ?

    Bonsoir Benjamin,

Good evening Colm and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization or for website design.

With that in mind, all the examples you have provided include substantial customization of their respective WordPress templates.

My best advice to copy these sites would be to get started by using a recent popular third-party WordPress theme such as Avada or Divi.

Once you have a basic structure going, you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customizations for you.

If you prefer to give it a try on your own,  I would recommend reading our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Best regards,

Good evening Henry and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Unfortunately, you cannot modify the ticket email by using the /tribe-events/ folder as you would with other customization.
The best approach would be to use a filter to add that extra information in the functions.php file of your WordPress theme.

Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    Good evening Christopher,

    That is a great question.

In software like WooCommerce and the Events Calendar, it is possible to do template customization.
To get a sense of how that works, you might want to read our Themer’s guide.

In short, you can edit the PHP content of the templates to add the desired elements.

In your specific case, that means editing the basic WooCommerce email file and adding some extra code to retrieve and include the additional ticket information.

I believe WooThemes also offers documentation on how to edit their email templates on their website.

Finally, as suggested before, if this is outside of your comfort zone, you can also hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Craig,

If someone purchases say 12 tickets. Will it ask them for this info in a loop 12 times? (one for each ticket?)

Yes, there will be a space to enter these extra fields as many times as there are tickets.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Benjamin,

Is it possible to associate many users to the same “organiser” ?

Well technically for Community Events, an organizer is a single WordPress user.

    So you could either:

    1. Share a single logon between all employees
    2. Find a way to have an aliasing system (multiple users with separate credentials being able to log on as the same WordPress user). But that is definitely something that is out of the scope of our support unfortunately. You would need to find a plugin or somebody to program a custom solution for you.

Is it possible to create an event without any place, for a e-conf by example ?

Yes, venues are not a required field

or a user to many organiser ?

Well if you want to go down that route, you will need almost admin access (at least when it comes to event creation).

You can probably achieve what you are looking for with a plugin such as Members.
If you are interested, I recommend the following articles: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=roles+and+permissions&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=documentation&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase

Let me know if that helps.

    Good afternoon Toni,

Thank you for sharing your system information. Unfortunately, I cannot access your website as your firewall is blocking my country (Canada).

    Could you either:

    1. Add Canada to the authorized country list (at least while we figure this out)
    2. Send me a screenshot of your site with the seemingly faulty translation ?

Furthermore, did you take a look at the translation archives I sent you ?

    Best regards,

    Good evening Hannu,

Thank you for your reply and for providing the requested information.

This is an odd one. I have not yet been able to reproduce this on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or IE11

Could you please confirm if I am doing the correct test ?

I entered “heponiemi” in the “Etsi” field under the default list view and the results where returned in the correct sequence.

Additionally, would it be possible to run your test on somebody else’s computer by any chance ?

    Best regards,

    Rebonjour Benjamin,

    Salutations,

    Geoff B.
