    Hello,

at first, thanks to you for all for this plugin.
I’m interesting on buying the “Community Events” product but i’m not sure it covers all my requirements. My need is a module allowing the public users to register on my website being directly associated to an “organiser” in the event module and who can publish thier events on front or backoffice.

Can you precise me if your module is done for me or not please ?
Do I have to combine it with “Event calendar pro” or does it work with the free plugin ?

    Thans

Good evening Benjamin and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

Yes, it absolutely looks like a good fit.

Based on how much control you are looking for, you can achieve pretty amazing results by combining our different add-ons/plugins. At the very least, you will need:

Finally, if you actually want your organizers to be able to sell tickets (and maybe even charge a fee), you will also need our Event Tickets Plus plugin.

Do I have to combine it with “Event calendar pro” or does it work with the free plugin ?

This works with the free plugin, you don’t need the Events Calendar Pro version unless you are interested in the extra features that it offers (like filtering the list view by organizer for instance).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Thanks a lot for you answer.

    Two complementary questions :

Is it possible to associate many users to the same “organiser” ?
Is it possible to create an event without any place, for a e-conf by example ?

    Thanks

    Hey Benjamin,

Is it possible to associate many users to the same “organiser” ?

Well technically for Community Events, an organizer is a single WordPress user.

    So you could either:

    1. Share a single logon between all employees
    2. Find a way to have an aliasing system (multiple users with separate credentials being able to log on as the same WordPress user). But that is definitely something that is out of the scope of our support unfortunately. You would need to find a plugin or somebody to program a custom solution for you.

Is it possible to create an event without any place, for a e-conf by example ?

Yes, venues are not a required field

or a user to many organiser ?

Well if you want to go down that route, you will need almost admin access (at least when it comes to event creation).

You can probably achieve what you are looking for with a plugin such as Members.
