MemberGood afternoon Randal,
Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry about the misunderstanding.
There are a couple of ways you could go about this. The first thing I would like to recommend is to try different settings for Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display
There is a good chance that this can help.
Other than that, you can also try the following CSS
#tribe-events-pg-template {
background-color: white;
padding: 20px;
}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

That’s a great question. I will change the status to “pending fix”.
As promised, you will be advised as soon as a fix is out.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Ben,
As much as we are sorry to see you go, I totally understand.
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood afternoon Rosanne,
Thank you for the system info.
I believe these issues are all related. They look like some type of conflict is at play (either with your theme/child theme or another plugin).
Could you tell me which version of Avada you are using and how long ago was your Avada child theme put in place ? The reason I am asking is because there are some template customizations found in Avada for our plugin.
These might require updating as our plugins evolve. A quick test would be to temporarily switch back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen and see if the issue persists.
If that does not work, the next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website if you can) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Damian,
Sorry about the confusion.
I did not realize you needed a copy of Event Tickets Plus. Here is the version just prior to 4.3 (4.2.7.1): event-tickets-plus-4-2-7-1
Hopefully this helps.
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood evening Thomas,
Thank you for writing back.
I apologize for the delay in answering.
Just to set expectations, it can take between 24-48 hours depending on the volume we are dealing with. You can read more about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/You are absolutely right, there seems to be a bug on this recently released feature. You are also right about the correct workaround, adding a parameter to the shortcode (e.g.: [tribe_eventsview=”list”]).
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Preben,
I am sorry to hear that this did not work for you.
Exceptionally, I would like to offer to login to take a look, not to touch (with your permission). To achieve that, I would need login credentials (which is not a good idea in a public forum).
For that purpose, could you contact us via email here https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/ and reference this ticket and my name ?Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Mohammed,
Thank you for writing back.
I am super stoked that you have found the cause of the issue. Kudos!
Please never hesitate to contact us, supporting you is our job. There is never a question to small to ask 🙂
In your documentation, it doesn’t seem like I can have a copy of it on the child theme. Do you have any recommendation so that this file doesn’t get overwritten when I continue making updates?
Same thing with the file meta.js (/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/resources/js/meta.js).That is a great question. I believe you are referring to our Themer’s guide.
Although it is true that you can include view related files in the /tribe-events/ folder of your theme or child theme, files found under the /src/ folder cannot be used in the same fashion unfortunately.Your best bet would be to use a different approach for that. Something like a combination of dequeueing, filters and perhaps even calling your modified script in the process.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Jamie,
First of all, I want to apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue.
This has been reported as a bug which is one of our top priorities.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
With that in mind, the only known workarounds for now are:
- Allow http content to be displayed
- Downgrade back to the last version before 4.3 : https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
