MemberGood evening Ben and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with tickets while using WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic.Unfortunately, what is going on is that our tickets plugin are not compatible with WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
More specifically, when you try adding tickets, they “disappear” (until you deactivate WPML).The good news is that we are currently working on supporting the tickets plugins. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantCan you provide me the new update launch date? As my website aimed to launch by end of Oct 2016.

ParticipantI would like to second this. WPML has a dedicated plugin for WooCommerce and Event Tickets is one of the more serious and more expensive plugins that works with WooCommerce. As you know, most serious webshops offer translated content in order to drive sales. Events are also quite often available to attendees from different countries.
At this point Event Tickets has two issues: not supporting WPML is one, the other and bigger issue is actually that Event Tickets doesn’t play nice with WPML. You should really make it a priority to -at least- make Event Tickets function in the default site language or without translation options, because at this point it is just breaking functionality. Maybe you could use this as a quick fix before deploying full blown support.
IMHO this should really be seen as a bug fix instead of a feature release. Please make this a very high priority item!

MemberGood evening and thank you both for writing back,
We are absolutely looking forward to offer WPML support for both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.
We do realize that there is a tremendous need for it.
Realistically Ben, I can guarantee that the release will not be by the end of October unfortunately.
If all goes well, we are looking at releasing this before the end of the year.I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi,
I think the same as inspyrmedia.
I understand you are working on the compatible settings and I can wait for that. But one thing is to be multilingual and another thing is that the site broke!
Im realizing right now of this and I found that the events calendar and ticket events pro is not a solution for me until you fix this.
Can you post a fix at least harcoding so I can continue using your plugins?thanks,
Damian

MemberGood evening Damian,
Thank you for pitching in.
I totally understand where you are coming from.
Since the tickets are not shown while WPML is active, this might be perceived as a bug. However, you need to keep in mind that Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus were never supported with WPML to begin with.
To fix this requires a full code change. We do not have a quick fix or hard code available at the moment.
In any case, filing this as a bug will not expedite the process since we are already working on this as we speak with the intention of releasing it very shortly (as soon as the testing and everything is done).
As I mentioned earlier, I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Hang in there as we work on this as fast as possible.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
