You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Good morning James,

Sorry for the delay answering. I really wanted to dig deep on this one after the weekend.
I totally understand how frustrating this must be. Yikes!

Thanks to the access you provided, I was able to do just that .

While doing so, I have found a couple of interesting things:

    1. I was finally able to reproduce the issue! You are right, the snippet no longer corrects the discount provided by the WooCommerce
    2. The issue seems to be very specific to % based discounts ($ based seems to work great – until some % based is thrown into the mix)

With that in mind, I will be able to present a case to Dev that they can reproduce and hopefully fix ASAP.

In the meantime, the only “workaround” would be to hide the tribe-events-cost span using CSS altogether. But I realize this is not much of a solution.

Hang in there as our coding ninjas try to tackle this one.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Sandra,

I am glad you made progress on this and figured out how to use the snippet.

At this point, there is no existing ticket shortcode available built-in unfortunately.
However, you can vote for that feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4969234-shortcode-for-ticket-purchase-eventbrite-etc

In the meantime, I believe after unhooking the default ticket display with the previous snippet, you can give WooCommerce shortcodes a try to see if that helps: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Knud,

    Yes, you understood perfectly.
I am glad I was able to clarify things for you.

I would recommend to start with option 1 and see where this takes you.

As for option 2, some of it does not require coding at all: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/

However, if you are looking to add fields to the organizer or venue section, you might need a bit of knowledge or hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/additional-fields-for-venues-and-organizers/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Preben,

    Thank you for writing back.

This is most likely caused by the WordPress theme you are using.

There is a good chance the “No comment” string is hardcoded in the comments.php template or that the domain of the strings are set to the theme’s language files.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Nigel,

    Thank you for writing back.

To move your website, and have it work properly on your new host, you will need to tweak your database a bit (as you found out, simply copying it over will not work).

There a many great plugins, services and even web hosts that will do this for you (some of them for free). But if you are looking to simply tweak the Database for you: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

I understand your instructions to delete the licence on http://www.pagriaclubtest.co.uk but I cannot see or get into any plugins to delete the licence!

There are a couple of things I am noticing from your screenshots:

    1. The license key will not work since you are entering it in the Events Aggregator field (and not the Events Calendar license field).
    2. For the 404 message, could you:
      1. Make sure your permalinks are set to “/%postname%/”
      2. Re-save your permalinks (under Settings > Permalinks)
    3. It looks like the user you are logged-in under does not have admin rights (last screenshot). Could you try a different user.

As for the system information, could you simply do a copypaste from the info found under Events > Help . Simply click on “copy to clipboard” and paste it in a private reply.

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Johannes,

I am super stoked that your translation made it in the delivered packages.

Actually, these translations are not approved by us. But by the project editor.
This is the way WordPress translations work (for our non-premium plugins).

WordPress has set it up in this way to democratize translations. The downside is that we have no control over these. Users submit changes and have to wait (or reach out to the Project Translator from the glotpress community)

But back to your remaining issue for a moment.
I apologize for my lack of mastery of the German language, but can you confirm if the issue is with:

    1. The single event view (the Google map section at the bottom): http://bergsport-jena.de/event/mitgliederversammlung-des-bergsportvereins-jena-e-v-bsv ?
    2. The actual venue view: http://bergsport-jena.de/ort/sitzungssaal-des-ipht-am-beutenberg-2 ?

I am asking because I am not sure which string is too long in both cases. Could you tell me which string that would be ?

As for the CSS, you can add it to your WordPress theme’s style.css or by using the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Hans and welcome back!

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

    You are absolutely right.

    1. The built-in WooCommerce Auto-Complete feature tends to not kick-in for a lot of our customers (we are not quite sure why at this point).
    2. Adding WooCommerce’s official snippet has its drawbacks, as it’s a pretty monolithic approach.

Added support for the Mollie gateway, would be a cool feature to have.
You can suggest it in our User Voice forum. That way other customers can vote for it!

On my end, I will investigate a bit more what Dev has to say about this.

In the meantime, I know some of our users have decided to use third-party plugins to have more control over this (although we have not tested these ourselves):

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Joshua and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

Is it possible to display a calendar that has events from one category, and another that has events from another category?

You are right. There is only 1 “main” calendar possible per site.

However, you can totally “fake” multiple calendars

The way to do this is to filter the calendar by category. You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-categories/

Furthermore, you can also use the following third-party plugin to add colours to these categories: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/the-events-calendar-category-colors/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Fumihiko and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the Facebook imports giving you trouble.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Would you mind sharing the URLs of those groups and pages as well as example of future events that are not being picked up by Event Aggregator ?

Finally, could you give me an idea of how many events you are importing this way ?

You can use a private reply for this purpose 🙂

Hang in there as we figure this out.

Good evening Johannes and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are encountering while trying to display Google maps.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Full disclosure, certain web hosts will force the use of their Google Map API, resulting in the daily limit being reached quite often. Hopefully, this is not your case.

To answer your question and hopefully solve the issue completely for you, I would recommend reading the following very carefully: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
