MemberGood evening Robert and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I want to be able to add a couple information blocks to the right of the calendar on the month view
There are a couple of ways you can achieve this:
- Try experimenting with different settings in Events -> Settings -> Display (Events Template). Depending on your theme, you might be able to use a page template that displays a sidebar on the Calendar page.
- Purchasing the Events Calendar Pro (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/), you will give you access to a complete set of shortcodes (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/). This will allow you to embed the calendar on the page of your choice which in turn lets you add blocks to the right of calendar.
- You can perform a template customization on the month view. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Akraemer and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that the Events Calendar Pro did not include everything you expected.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am not sure what this purchase really does differently than the free version.
That is a good question. The Events Calendar Pro add-on offers many additional features (shortcodes, advanced widgets, recurring events, additional fields, etc…), as well as a couple of extra views (Week, Photo and Map).
And most importantly, it includes 1 year of premium support.
But you will need to login this site with the email address used to purchase the Pro add-on to take advantage of this. You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
You will find a very visual grid of the difference between the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro as well as a nice User Primer to get you started.
I thought it would include the Facebook events and the event-tickets pro.
Actually, as you might have found out by now, we offer a full suite of plugins ( the Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets Plus, Event Aggregator, Community Events, etc…).
We decided to break these down so that people only pay for what they need, while still keeping things reasonably priced.
You can see the full suite here: https://theeventscalendar.com/products/
With that in mind, we also have bundles available for our users that require many of our plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the switch to Event Aggregator not going smoothly for event Organizers and Google map display.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I would recommend is going through the following articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-imported-events/
As you can see, this should totally help fix the Google Map display issue.
If you are still bumping into issues or you need help with the above articles, I will gladly help out.
With that in mind, would it be possible to have the FB URL(s) you are importing from so that I can run some tests ?Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Walter,
Sorry about that.
The CSS rule is correct, but it won’t kick-in if placed in the normal CSS file.
Please add it to : /wp-content/themes/directory-theme/include/assets/css/admin_style.cssI have tested it and it works.
The only downside is that it will not survive theme updates.Perhaps you might want to submit that CSS rule to the theme authors so that they include it in their next release ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood morning Tony and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I can’t figure out how to link the calendar with a page on my website. Can you help please?
Actually, by default the calendar does not use a “real page”.
I will not bore you with the technical details, but to make it simple, it uses a URL.
You can find that URL defined under Events -> Settings -> General (look for Events URL slug).
From there, you can add this URL to your menu using the “Custom link” option and you should be good to go.
I have made a events page and published an event and nothing shows up
Actually, it is very important that you do not create a page for this. The calendar needs to have exclusivity over this URL.
With that in mind, if you want to embed your calendar on regular pages and posts, you can do so using shortcodes.
To do that however, you will need a copy of our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Knud and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. We would like ro run a public calendar at https://www.fleksjobbernetvaerket.dk/kalender/ … and implement a feature that allows the front end user (logged in or not) to create events.
Actually, the plugin you need to accomplish this specific need is called Community Events: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
We would like to decide which fields should be avalaible for the user to create these events (such as: file upload, contact name, phone number and so on).
I would recommend taking a look at the basic fields that come with the plugin first to see if you need any additional fields.
If there are already enough fields, you can decide which ones you want to keep with a simple customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
If you require additional fields, you can then purchase the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on (which works great with Community events): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
This will allow you to add custom fields to events (and many more great features and views).
When the user events has been created, we would likethem automaticly to show up in the calendar in onth-view/list-view and so on.
With Community events, you have full control over that. Settings allow you to decide if the events are published immediately or not.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

November 28, 2016 at 7:32 am in reply to: Can't see woocommerce page associated to the event ticket in frontend. #1198297Geoff B.
MemberGood morning Peter and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.1. In that page there is not a link to the woocommerce product page ;
By design, there is no link to the WooCommerce Product page, the tickets are embedded in the event itself.
With that in mind, you can tweak that behaviour. You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/
2. I added the anchor #buy-tickets at the end of the page URL and landed in the same URL;
This part is a bit confusing to me. Adding the anchor in a URL typically only brings you to a page section containing that anchor (which it does).
Could you expand on what behaviour you would expect this to accomplish ?
3. I went to WP backend and navigated to Woocomerce products and edited the ticket product, hoping to find the permalink to the product page, however, the permalink there is the same URL above (I was hoping to find a permalink to the product area something like
As a side note, there is no need to go to WooCommerce Products (although you can if you want to). You can simply head over to your event, scroll down to the tickets section and hover over the ticket.
This will give you the “edit in WooCommerce” option.
As for the permalink part, I would recommend going through the above Knowledge Base article first. If you still have questions, I would love to help you get closer to your goal.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Saskia and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about that strange behaviour with the recurring event link redirecting to the /all/ overview as opposed to the single event detail.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please send a screenshot of the “Edit Event” screen for that event (including the recurrence rules)? This will allow me to run tests with the exact same setup as you.

Thank you for writing back.
I am glad my pointers with the translation helped.By the way: Because RSVPs being e-mailed to the administrator only was of no use to us, I disabled the plugin again.
Thank you for the feedback.
Actually, it is possible to send that email to the organizer.

We are sorry to hear about your theme being conflictual with our plugins.
I would love to help you with this topic.Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
