Google Maps API

Hello,

As several others, I have problems with the Google Maps API:

First of all: What Google Maps API should I select? There is a long list of availlable Map APIs (>15 items). I tried the Google Maps JavaScript API, but I am not happy with it: On a site with just 3 venue locations yet and little traffic, it always tells me “the daily API limit has been reached” when trying to “repair the venue location data”.

Worse: Any manually entered lattitude/longitude data are removed thereby from the venue locations.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are encountering while trying to display Google maps.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Full disclosure, certain web hosts will force the use of their Google Map API, resulting in the daily limit being reached quite often. Hopefully, this is not your case.
