MemberGood evening Leia,
Thank you for writing back.
I must say that I am bit taken aback that the shortcode did not work in combination with a normal page (using the Fusion options to add a sidebar).
I investigated this a bit further and I think it boils down to some settings of Avada.
Try heading over to Avada > Theme options > Sidebars > Events Calendar posts
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Miles and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have been dealing with while installing your license.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that you can totally move your licenses around.
As a result, I would recommend:
- Reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
- Disconnecting and reconnecting your license.
If that still does not work, it might be because you need to install the plugin at a local install level and not at the multi-site level : https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Steve and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The simplest way to do this would be with a CSS rule.
Try the following:
.tribe-bar-disabled {
display: none !important;
}Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Doug and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have been dealing with in the context of this upgrade. I would love to help you with this topic.
You are correct, you license has not expired!
I am not sure exactly why you are receiving that prompt. In any case, you have 2 potential solutions:
- You can safely move your licenses around: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
As such, I would suggest disconnecting your license and reconnecting it as a first step. - If that does not work, you can:
- Deactivate Pro and delete it
- Head over to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
- Download the newest version of Pro
- Install it via the “Add plugin” WordPress interface
As a side note, I am noticing that you are using a much older version of our Filter Bar plugin.
Please know that non-matching versions of our plugins may create issues.Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Steve,
I am super stoked that this worked out for you.
Kudos on that!On our end, we are working on a patch to prevent functionality from breaking in sites with mixed content.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Andy,
Thank you for writing back.
Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
If coding is not your thing, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you. With that in mind, here is a quick guide to do what you are looking for:
- Please read the themer’s guide fully (even if you don’t grasp all of it)
- In your theme, create a /tribe-events/pro/widgets/modules/ folder
- Copy the /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php file in there
- Edit that file and borrow line 24 from /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/photo/single-event.php
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHey Arnau,
I am chiming in at the request of my colleague Geoff because of my experience with WPML.
Here are some of your next steps:
- After a database backup, please upgrade to the latest version of the WPML suite
- Please make sure you go through the following guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/ .
Can you send me a screenshot of your settings for WPML > Languages ?
One thing I would recommend is switching from the ?lang= approach to a directory based approach for translations (Different languages in directories). This is also much better from your SEO.
Finally, can you also send me a screenshot of your settings for WPML > Theme and Plugins localization ?
To answer your question, I do believe that with the correct setup you should not need to translate strings (Catalan is at 60% translation already).
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Tayyeba and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about some of the options not being available on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
With that in mind, based on the description of your issue, it sounds like you might have a mixed content issue (when there are both http and https resources found on your site).
The temporary fix for now which is to update the Site URL settings in General → Settings in wp-admin Make sure you are using https or http in both fields.
You might also benefit from using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
While we are on this topic, I would recommend going through all of your CSS rules and make sure you are not calling background-images with the http protocol.
For example:
.site-header .widget-area {
background-image: url(http://friendsjmz.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/lt-blue-highlight-up-e1459375466983.png);}Let me know how that goes.

MemberBonsoir Patrick,
Hourra!

MemberGood evening Gregg,
Thank you for writing back and performing the update.
You are right, I was not clear in my request about the search console.Indeed, the results from the Google search Console are based on what Google finds as it crawls.
But, as I thought some more about this, I realized even if my theory proved to be true (that this was somehow related to some caching issue), it would take a while to be updated from Google’s crawls.
I would like to ask for a second opinion on this one since this is quite a head scratcher.
Hang in there as I do that for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
