ParticipantHello,
We are currently unable to toggle between Text and Visual mode in the WP WYSIWYG. We are running WP 4.6.1 and version 4.3.3 of the Calendar Plugin.
Does anyone out there have a fix for this or is currently experiencing this?
Thanks

MemberGood afternoon Steve and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the inability to toggle between the text and visual modes. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

As for the exact cause, my best guess (without visiting your site) is that this is related to some mixed content issue (https vs http).
Some of our users have had success fixing these by:
- Reviewing their SSL setup
- Installing and tweaking the following plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
Hang in there!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Steve,
Thank you for the system information.
I am noticing a couple of things in there:
- You are using WPML and I would recommend going through the following guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/ . For one thing, we highly recommend the use of the WPML translation management plugin
- You are not using the latest version of our plugins. After a backup of your database, I would recommend an upgrade to the latest version.
- Just as I suspected, I believe you are the victim of a mixed content issue. Could you try adjusting your URLs to https for both entries under Settings > General in wp-admin ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantThanks Geoff, it was the mixed content.

MemberGood evening Steve,
I am super stoked that this worked out for you.
Kudos on that!On our end, we are working on a patch to prevent functionality from breaking in sites with mixed content.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
Have a great day!
