ParticipantI am using Event Tickets Plus with Easy Digital Downloads and Studiopress Outreach Pro on an iMac running DesktopServer Premium v3.8.1.
When I create a post and set a ticket price, and then try to view the post, I get the error message below. (I have it divided into three files.) As a result, I am unable to get past the error page topurchase a ticket.
I have disabled all other plugins (except Event Tickets) and get the same result. However, if I disable Event Tickets Plus, and just run with Event Tickets, I do not get an error.
I sent this error problem to Easy Digital Downloads and they said that since I do NOT get the error when I disable Modern Tribe’s plugins, they said the error is not caused by their plugin and therefore I should report this to Modern Tribe.
Can you help with this?
Thanks,
Mark Herro

ParticipantGeoff,
I am using Event Tickets Plus, (not the Event Calendar) and when I go to Event in the admin dashboard, there is no option for Help. There are just links for “settings,” and for “Event Add-Ons.” And in Settings, there is no tab for Help, so I don’t know how to send you the System info.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
I tried using WooCommerce instead of EDD with the Outreach Pro theme. This time I did not get an error; however, on the event page where it says “Tickets,” I am getting a box to enter the quantity of tickets, but there is not number in the box – just the up/down arrows. (See screenshot attached). Is this something I am doing wrong, or is it a bug in The Events Calendar or WooCommerce?
Thanks,
Mark

MemberHey Mark,
As promised, I did go ahead and requested a second pair of eyes on this.
As it turns out, both our experience is 100% right. There is a major bug with EDD tickets currently.We apologize for the inconvenience this is creating
We are actively working on a fix for this.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
In the meantime, your option are to :
- Downgrade our plugins suite
- Try WooCommerce (as you just did)
As for your question regarding WooCommerce, this is a CSS issue.
The number in the box is there, but it is hidden by the arrows.Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.woocommerce .quantity .qty {
width: 4.631em !important;
}Best regards,
Geoff B.
