    Good morning Dennis,

Thank you for writing back to us and we are sorry about the delay answering back.
We are currently experiencing a much higher level of requests than usual.

With that in mind, I am a little taken aback that the update did not solve things for you and would like to make sure we get to the bottom of this with you.

It looks like you did try the CSS since you last wrote.
It is certainly not awesome, but definitely a step in the right direction.

There are a couple of other things I would like to suggest. Please head over to Events -> Settings -> Display

    1. Try different settings for Default stylesheet used for events templates and see if that helps
    2. Try different settings for Events Template and see if that helps

If none of that works, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Hang in there!

    Good morning Doug,

    Thank you for your patience.

As promised, I went ahead and tried to reproduce your setup.
The good news is that I was able to get the exact same results and reproduce the bug.

In other words, any event submitted resulted in a 1970 date.

However, in the process I noticed quite a few things since I have PHP debug turned on.
    I received the following messages:

    1. <b>Notice</b>: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/deprecated/TribeEvents.php is deprecated since version 3.10! Use Tribe__Events__Main instead. in <b>/wp-includes/functions.php</b> on line <b>3957</b>
    2. <b>Notice</b>: Tribe__Events__Community__Main::formCategoryDropdown is deprecated since version 4.2! Use Tribe__Events__Community__Modules__Taxonomy_Block::the_category_checklist instead. in <b>/wp-includes/functions.php</b> on line <b>3829</b>

Furthermore the organizer the venue section did not display properly.

Seeing this, I simply renamed the /wp-content/themes/twentythirteen-child/tribe-events/community/ folder to /wp-content/themes/twentythirteen-child/tribe-events/z_community/

Doing that resolved the issue completely.

In other words, it does look like you customizations for the Community event submission form need some upgrading.

I would recommend updating to the very latest version of all of our plugins prior to going through the process of running each file in that folder through a file compare with the most recent version of the files.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Michelle,

    Thank you for writing back.

I am glad that we are making progress on this one.

Unfortunately, due to a very high level of requests we are receiving, I will only be able to complete your request this weekend.

    We apologize for the delay.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

in reply to: Tickets are only… rarely sent #1251747

    Good morning Valerio,

Thank you for the additional information and the tests.

“Your tickets from Tickit” – the most important – arrives only once in ten or less.
It seems something related to IPv6 name/address support, ’cause I can see the error on my server log. So my question is:
Is there any different sendmail script in the ticket mail?

The code to send the actual ticket has a conditional on it. But it is not substantially different than any other code aside from that.

It waits for the condition that you set under Events -> Settings -> Tickets (scroll to the bottom – When should tickets be emailed to customers? )

When that order status condition is met, the tickets are sent.

With that in mind, you might be right.

It is possible that there is something server-side that needs fixing as well.

But, before we escalate this to that level, could you:

    1. Check the settings just mentioned and make sure they meet your workflow (and that there is at least one box checked)
    2. Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen (after a database backup and with a maintenance page up) and go through the full purchase process yourself (on a test order) to see if that helps.

The reason for this test is that your WordPress theme might contain customizations that require updating to work with the latest version of our plugins.

    Hang in there!
