    Hello

Whem I’m clicking on the events list page : http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/programme/?lang=en
it shows only the events until 30 april “Jazz Day Brunch: Magnetic Orchestra”
then when I click on ” Next Events » ” it shows events from “12 mai” (May 12th) “Magnetic Orchestra & Guest “.

But no show of events from 4th to 11th may

And the title changes in “Prochains Évènements” in French
then when I click on ” « Évènements précédent ” (previous events) then I see the events from april 30th to may 11th

    Any idea ?

    Best regards

    Pascal

    Salut Pascal,

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! Sorry about these issues, let me try to help you with them.

The number of events I believe comes from a Divi setting. Under Divi > Theme Settings > Genaral tab > Number of Posts displayed on Archive pages
should be set to the same number as Events > Settings > General tab > Number of events to show per page. That should fix it.

As for the translation issue, that is partially due to the AJAX call and the fact that you are using the url parameter lang=en to switch languages. As far as I know it is recommended to use different directories for languages e.g. /en and /fr. You can find this setting under WPML > Languages > Language URL format.

Also here is a recommended reading for using our calendar plugins with WPML:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/

I hope this helps and do let me know if you need further assistance!

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Andras

    Thanks for your answer

The fisrt part of my issue is solved.
The Events Manager shows the right amount of events.

Then I followed your suggestion and changed the struture of links for EN language

Now I have for example http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/en/ or http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/en/bar-food/
    which works great

But for my “programme “page http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/programme/
    which shows the events list
when I’m clicking on the english flag the link is http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/en/programme/ which seems OK
but when you go down the page to “next events” the link is
    http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/en/programme/list/?tribe_event_display=list&tribe_paged=2
and when I click on it it becomes
    http://www.bemol5-jazz.com/en/programme/list/?tribe_paged=2&tribe_event_display=list
This page is a mix of french-englixh … bad ! (for example the title in the page “Prochains Évènements” and othe names like “Billetterie”)

    Any further help ?

    Best regards

    Pascal

    Hi Pascal,

I’ll need to check this with my colleague who has more experience with WPML. I ask for a bit of patience.

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Good evening Pascal,

At my colleague Andras’ request, I would like to chime in to help with the second part of the issue.

Could you please send us a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Secondly, if you do not mind, I would highly recommend downgrading our plugins to 4.3.5 for the Events Calendar and to 4.3.4 for the Events Calendar Pro.

The following article should walk you through that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

Finally, now that you have changed your translation method, you should also update the custom link in your WordPress menu.

Let us know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Bonsoir Pascal,

    Salutations,
    Geoff B.
