    Good evening Jennifer,

    Thank you for writing back.

    This is actually totally my bad.
    We used to have a code snippet on this page.

    The good news is that we now have integrated it as part of our options under Events -> Settings -> Tickets .

    But, since you want to move it to a more specific place, I would recommend using a template customization (view).

    You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Basically this lets you place the different elements of a view anywhere you like on the page.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Chris,

    Thank you for writing back.

    The best way to do this would be install the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    This will let you simply paste the code and save it.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Nicholas,

    Thank you for writing back.

    I would like to help clarify the outstanding issues.

    Following error message STILL exist.

    Sorry, key validation server is not available.

    This message usually shows up on test or local servers that do not have an internet connection available.

    It can also appear with certain server configuration that are blocking certain ports.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Is the error I’m getting and, like the thread I attached for refrence, I think it’s because I purchased a renewal and not a new license.

    I went ahead and deleted the previous license key and created one from scratch.
    Normally, this should fix the issue.

    However, we did purchased the original via a third party developer, but no longer have access to the original account.

    The purchaser of the plugin only has an impact on the license key.
    In other words, as long as the license key is valid and unique, it works.

    The plugins themselves do not differ in code from one customer to the next.

    At this point you will have a brand new license key to enter.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Adrian,

    As promised, I followed-up with the extension’s author.

    As I suspect, Event Tickets Extension: Additional Email Options will not work properly with the latest version of our plugins.
    To use it, you will need to downgrade your Event Tickets Plus and Event Tickets plugins as suggested previously.

    The good news is that this project has been cut in 2 separate extensions.
    The first half is completed: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/

    The second half (that includes the cc option to the organizer) is under programming.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Abhimanyu and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the ticket not showing on the webpage.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    To help troubleshoot, I have a couple of questions for you:

    1. Which version of Salient are you using ?

      If the version is greater than 7.08, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
      This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    2. Could you send a screenshot of your Edit Ticket section on your page ?
    3. Did you enter a start sale date on your ticket ? If so, the ticket will not appear until that date is met.

    Hang in there,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Pim and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Since I cannot see your actual site, this will be a slight shot in the dark.

    But, the good news is yes, you can move stuff around, add some things and even remove what you do not want.

    It does not require any special coding. All you need to do is to create a template override (view personalization). You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    In other words, by downloading the file responsible for the view you want to change, tweaking it and uploading it back in your theme folder (under the  /tribe-events/ folder).

    Also, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-style-full #main {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Secondly, by the looks of it, it sounds like there is a template customization on your site.
    In other words there is something in your theme that changes how items are displayed (compared to the default view).

    You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Good evening Peter and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the attendee information missing on some of your purchases.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Out of curiosity, if you do a test purchase yourself, does the information get captured ?

    There are 2 possible causes for this issue:

    1. If a customer decides to change the number of tickets while on the cart page.

      This is currently one of the limitations of our plugins. Most customers work around this issue by using the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/66bf05df61ee269c60ff20d6f39e2cab

      This prevents the quantity from being changed while on the cart page

    2. Some events have multiple ticket types attached to them.

      If a customer purchases several ticket types of the same event at the same time this can result in loss of attendee info.

      Would it be possible to have a screenshot of your Edit Event screen (including the “Edit ticket” screen(s) ?

      The good news is that a fix for this last glitch is imminent.

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Good evening Thom and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the duplicate related events showing up on your events page.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The first set of related events comes from our plugin.
    Basically, it displays other events in the same category.

    You can hide it by heading over to Events -> Settings -> Display and looking for the Hide related events checkbox.

    The second set is very specific to your WordPress theme (based on its look).
    I suspect, there is something in your theme options or in a template customization (view override) that places that list there.

    If that is the one you want to get rid of, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.

    Good afternoon Hans-Gerd and welcome back!

    You are absolutely correct, the Community add form is built to take full width of a page by default. This is why the sidebar is floating below.

    The main reason for that default behaviour is because this is actually the preferred layout for most of our customers.

    With that in mind, there are a couple of things that can be done to tweak it to your liking:

    1. Create a template override (custom view) for the Community Events pages. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.Basically this will let you add any missing CSS Class or DIVs you are looking for which should help achieving the desired result.
    2. Try to tweak things with CSSHere is an example of how that would look:
      .tribe_community_edit #main .main_color .container {
      width: 60%;
      float: left;
      }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning Sarah and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-event-meta {
    display: none;
    }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
